Bentley Motors brings thousands of modern models and classic models to create the largest model lineup in the history of the brand. As part of the centenary celebrations, 1,321 Bentley cars gathered at the Salon Privé event and appeared in the Bentley Drivers Club Annual Rally, becoming the focus of much attention.
The extraordinary historical accumulation of the Bentley brand was reappeared in glory at the event. Including the oldest surviving Bentley in the world – the Bentley EXP2 model, which is the second Bentley crafted by the brand founder Mr. Walter Owen Bentley (WO Bentley). The newly revealed Bentley EXP 100 GT concept car shows the brand’s vision of future luxury mobility for 2035, and it was exhibited to the British public for the first time. Thousands of extraordinary Bentley cars built in a century were also present. A number of Bentley grand touring cars built in Crickwood, England in the 1920s, joined the stage with several Bentleys built in Derby, England, in the 1930s. In addition, the historical heritage of Bentley Motors’ headquarters factory in Crewe, UK, is also displayed, including the Bentley Mark VI launched in 1946, to the four major car series including the modern Continental GT, Flying Spur, Bentayga and Mulsanne.
Adrian Hallmark, Chairman and Chief Executive of Bentley Motors, said: “Bentley Motors is bringing the largest car line-up in the history of the brand to the event. Celebrating the centenary On this occasion, we sincerely thank the organizers of the Salon Privé event for their meticulous preparations and the successful conclusion of the Bentley brand centennial celebration. In addition, Mr. Aiden Hallmark unveiled the new Continuation Series at the Salon Privé event. The 12 new continuation models were crafted by Mulliner, Bentley’s personalization department, to pay tribute to the iconic 4½-litre Blower built by Sir Tim Birkin in 1929. The all-new Blower model combines craftsmanship and advanced technology to become the first model series to continue the pre-war racing.
Built in 1939, the Bentley Corniche has been lovingly reborn thanks to the heritage craftsmanship of the Mulliner division. The Corniche was once a concept car in the history of the Bentley brand. Unfortunately, it was lost in the artillery fire of World War II and has been meticulously restored. The remodeling of the Corniche was initially initiated by brand enthusiasts and finally completed by Mulliner’s professional craftsmen. This revived Bentley Corniche made its world premiere at the Salon Privé event, and was personally driven by Robin Peel, head of Bentley brand collection models, to become one of the highlights.
In addition, a series of new models, including the new Flying Spur, were unveiled one after another, demonstrating the extraordinary glory of the Bentley brand for a century.
