[Report on new e-cars] The 2019 Shanghai Auto Show officially opened. Lincoln brought a new generation of aviators to this auto show. Models, new cars will be imported and launched within this year, and will be domestically produced in China in the future.
As a member of Lincoln SUV, the new generation of Lincoln Aviator adopts the latest design elements of the brand. Compared with the flagship Navigator, the new car has a more fashionable atmosphere, and the overall grand style does not lose the blood of traditional American luxury cars. Among them, the hybrid version adopts a brand-new blue background Xinghui LOGO, with a matrix grille, which looks very domineering.
Viewed from the side, the suspended roof gradually converges from the front of the car, and with the waistline design, it creates a design similar to the wings of an aircraft, which looks very fashionable. Looking at the rear, the shape of the through-horizon taillight group is very fashionable. At the same time, the design of exhaust pipes with a total of four outlets on both sides of the rear of the car adds a lot to the visual effect of the vehicle.
In terms of interior, the style of the center console of the Aviator is very similar to that of the Navigator, and the overall focus is still on the use of horizontal lines, making it look very spacious in terms of visual effects. The large floating screen above the center console and the push-button shift mechanism all inherit the classic design of the Navigator. In terms of seats, the Aviator adopts a 2+3+2 layout. Among them, the front seats provide a 30-way adjustment function similar to that of Lincoln Continental high-end models. Its second row of seats adopts the design of three independent seats.
The Lincoln Aviator will provide gasoline power and plug-in hybrid power, of which the gasoline engine part uses a 3.0T twin-turbocharged engine with a 10AT gearbox. At the same time, the plug-in hybrid model part will also use a 3.0T engine with a plug-in hybrid power system. It is the first model in the Lincoln family to provide a plug-in hybrid power option.
