Wanwei Golden Beach in Dongxing is a temporary addition to the itinerary, just for one word: eat! In order to eat, I also stayed for one night.

D7. Wanwei Golden Beach – Yanbian Highway – Exploring the Sino-Vietnamese Border – Friendship Pass – Pingxiang (280km)

The start of this border tour: Yanbian Highway S325
We found a small village on the border, the border river was only ten meters wide, and there were sunken stone roads in the river, our cars could drive across without any pressure.
The boundary marker can be vaguely seen on the other side, and the small ramp directly in front is the place for the car to go ashore.
Another ancient border village, here is slightly wider, but the river is still very shallow.
There was no staff on duty at all, and he went abroad with his trousers lifted. (No wonder there are so many Vietnamese brides who come to China illegally, they can’t keep it at all )
The boundary marker on the opposite bank happened to meet a local old man who came to the river. After inquiring, I found out that the people in the villages on both sides of the strait still move around very intensively, because they are all young, speak the same language, and intermarry with each other, and over time they are all related. The real love between two sides of a strip of water!
This is a county-level port.
This is a border port at the township level, allowing cross-strait border residents to trade.

To end the exploration of the two ancient border villages, we must hurry up. The Yanbian Highway is far from being as easy as imagined. There are hundreds of bends on the mountain road, and there are many speed tests. The delay in the ancient village was relatively long, so lunch could only be handled briefly, and the last 50 kilometers of mountain roads were abandoned and changed to the national road to Youyi Pass.

TIPS: Yanbian Highway, Dongxing to Pingxiang section, only the first 120 kilometers are more visible. After Aidian Port, you can choose the national highway or expressway to Youyiguan. The recommended departure time for Dongxing is 8:00.
D8. Pingxiang-Detian Waterfall Aibu Waterfall-Jiuzhou-Equan-Mengzi (780km)
When I went out, I calculated the time, combined with the scenery value of Yanbian Highway, temporarily decided to abandon Yanbian Highway and take the national highway and expressway instead.
There is nothing to shoot, just click two photos by the way.
Detian Waterfall, a place not to go if you can. Tickets are expensive and crowded. The scenery is average, and there are still such and such tosses.
Summary: Not going is a miss, and going is a loss. (The above is purely personal opinion)
After walking around, it seems that it is not for the scenery, but for the humanities. Hahaha

There’s nothing much to see, so hurry up and get into your own rhythm. The scenery has to be found on the road by yourself! De Tian came out and went to another wild waterfall to have a look. But S325 refused to let go, and had to re-circle for more than 40 kilometers to get to “Aibu Waterfall”. (In the off-season, the Detian section of Yanbian Highway can be used for commuting. But in the peak season, vehicles cannot pass the Detian section smoothly.)
If you want to see a wild waterfall, you have to “override the thorns and thorns” to see it. Hahaha

Tips: Jianshui small train, it is recommended to book tickets in advance, there are only two trains a day. If you don’t like taking pictures, you can ignore this little train. The itinerary of the train was a bit procrastinated. It took about 50km in four hours, going the same way and going back the same way. There are 5-6 stops along the way, and there are not many shooting spots.
