What I want to introduce to you today is the Land Rover Defender Flying Huntsman version launched by Kahn Design.
Many years ago, the famous modification company Kahn Design launched a long-nosed model named Flying Huntsman. The car was equipped with a 6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine from General Motors, matched with a six-speed automatic transmission, with a maximum output of 550 horsepower.
Kahn Design launched a refitted Flying Huntsman model, which still has a “long nose” shape. People guess that the extended engine compartment is not a V8 or at least a V6, but it is still equipped with a 2.2-liter Diesel engines. It can be seen that although the chassis has been lengthened, this Land Rover Defender 105 still does not want to change the diesel engine.
The current starting price of this Land Rover Defender Flying Huntsman 105 is 112,000 US dollars (about 761,000 yuan). Kahn Design has extended the front engine compartment by 40 cm. Although the width of the vehicle has also increased by 150 mm, it still has a “long nose” visual sense. The CEO of Kahn Design said that this Land Rover Defender may become the most retro and the most popular modification of the British people, and the engine has not been modified, so it can be regarded as a pure British model.
For the appearance of the whole vehicle, it is painted in bright black, and the tire arches are also painted with glossier paint, which is more conspicuous. Additionally, the front bumper, fenders and rear exhaust cover have all been redesigned. The words Chelsea Truck Company on the rear spare wheel cover are particularly conspicuous, which also means that it is equipped with the company’s 1945 retro matte black aluminum alloy rims (18 inches), which are matched with 265/75R18 tires.
Inside, GTB seats are front and rear, and the roof, dashboard, armrests and rear seat knee protectors are all wrapped in Almadline leather. The new steering wheel is wrapped in Nappa leather, and the brake and accelerator pedals are made of aluminum alloy.
