After adding an additional package that meets aerodynamic features, the Land Rover Defender launched by Ares Design also has a more rounded image. In addition, in terms of performance improvement, Ares Design’s Land Rover Defender has also prepared sports bars and winches and other configurations.
Inside the vehicle, Ares Design modified the Land Rover Defender with a full leather-wrapped interior, while the vehicle’s floor is also covered with aluminum panels for outdoor use.
In terms of power, Ares Design’s Land Rover Defender solution expands the original 4.5L V8 engine to 4748CC by replacing it with a new camshaft and adjusting the cylinder head. The maximum output power is also increased to 278 horsepower and the maximum torque is increased. to 439 Nm. The intake and exhaust systems have also been upgraded for performance.
At the same time, Ares Design also provides a set of turbocharged power configurations for optional installation. The turbocharged version has a cylinder volume of 4698CC, a maximum output of 468 horsepower, and a maximum torque of 649 Nm.
In terms of chassis, Ares Design has increased the height of the vehicle through a lifting kit. The height of the naturally aspirated version has been increased by 75 mm, and the turbocharged version has been increased by 50 mm. The shock absorbers were changed to Fox’s high-performance kit, and the brake system was upgraded to a six-piston AP Racing kit. The tires are 305/70 R18 Cooper all-terrain tires.
In terms of the market, Ares Design’s Land Rover Defender is priced at £190,000, or approximately RMB 1.67 million, and this Land Rover Defender will also be limited to 53 units.
