Invited by Jiangxi Isuzu Shaanxi Bell Star, I had the honor to participate in the activity of China National Geographic and Jiangxi Isuzu car enthusiasts scientific research team to explore Hanzhong Tiankeng. At 7:30 a.m. on May 29th, I drove my beloved Isuzu Ranger to the gathering place at No. 6 Fengjing Road—Shaanxi Lingzhixing Auto Service Co., Ltd. on time. It was a pleasure meeting new and old friends.
The representatives of Jiangxi Isuzu factory and the relevant person in charge of China National Geographic shared with all the car owners the meat sandwiches and meatballs in Shihong cured sauce provided free of charge by the senior backbone of the off-road e-family Shaanxi Brigade Walking Sifang (hereinafter referred to as Shige) Soup with Pepper. The taste is still as delicious and refreshing as ever, which won everyone’s praise. I would like to thank Brother Shi for walking around, and hope that in the future, I can always enjoy Shihong Roujiamo and Meatball Hu Spicy Soup for free in the future. Don’t blame me for being thick-skinned, because whoever eats it will know.
After the beauty Chen Xiaoyang, Marketing Director of Shaanxi Lingzhixing briefly introduced the program of this event and several important guests, the departure ceremony officially began, and thus embarked on a road of adventure.

After about five hours of high-speed driving, we arrived at the first destination of this event – Hanzhong Qinba Folk Culture Park. Here, the Hanzhong Pangolin Outdoor Adventure Club will conduct simple downhill training for everyone. Of course, you must fill your stomach before training, and sweat after eating.
At that time, I was only focused on eating Hanzhong cuisine and forgot to take pictures, so let’s make do with it.
Downhill seems easy, just slide down the rope, the speed is up to you, and you can hover in mid-air to enjoy the blue sky and white clouds above your head and the unknown world under your feet. It can be said to go to heaven and enter the earth, like gods and immortals. The imaginary rappelling is like Zhu Bajie accidentally entering his daughter’s country, which should be all kinds of unspeakable beauty. But the actual behavior of the students is like Zhu Bajie encountering a dominatrix in his bridal chamber, all kinds of horror and excitement. It is said that a beautiful woman even shed pearly tears.
Stay at Hanzhong Tianyuan Hotel that night. Before the meal, Chief Engineer Zhang of the China Institute of Geological Survey gave us some knowledge about the tiankeng and the discovery process of the Hanzhong tiankeng. Everyone was fascinated by what they heard. Several friends wandered into the Tiankeng as if in a dream. I admit that I dozed off during the science popularization.
The ground adjustment institute is very suitable for low-key people like Chief Engineer Zhang and me. In the next life, I must apply for the major of cosmic geology, and strive to enter the International Low-key Institute to be a half-time official, driving various hard-core off-road vehicles for free to explore the secret places in the universe.
At present, 527 geological relics have been found in the 5019km2 karst landform distribution area in the south of Hanzhong. Including 54 tiankengs (2 super tiankengs with a diameter of more than 500 meters, 7 large-scale tiankengs with a diameter of >500∼<300 meters, and 45 conventional tiankengs with a diameter of <300∼>100 meters), 23 shafts, 25 funnels, and 316 karst caves , is the largest tiankeng group in the same karst platform area in the world.
There are more than 60 other karst landforms such as peak clusters, depressions, stone forests, ground fissures, canyons, lakes, and stone buds. Among them, the largest diameter reaches 520 meters (Zhenba Sanyuan Circle Ya Tiankeng). They are concentrated in the four areas of Ningqiang Chanjiayan, Nanzheng Xiaonanhai, Xixiang Luojiaba, and Zhenba Sanyuan, forming a karst landscape belt about 200km from east to west and 110km from north to south.
Nanzheng Boyiu Tiankeng, with a diameter of 200x145m and a maximum depth of 316m, is a compound type of sinking and erosion.
In the early morning of the next day, the convoy departed from Tianyuan Hotel to Tianxing Cave in Xiaonanhai, Nanzheng, for on-the-spot downhill activities. Compared with the downhill activities in Tianxing Cave, the previous training has become a kindergarten game. The various operations and prescribed movements taught by the coach the day before were all thrown out of the blue. Then there are all kinds of god performances, although they are unbearable, they are full of laughter. As the saying goes, life is to laugh at others and be laughed at by others.
The camera is like a demon mirror, recording all your magical operations.
After the rappelling event, the Isuzu manufacturer booked the local characteristic farmhouse for everyone in advance. Please forgive me that I just ate and forgot to take pictures. What impressed me the most was the steamed bacon. All other tables have steamed bacon, but our table was not served. The waiter bit his butt and said that he had served all four tables. At the critical moment, I still stick to the principle, fight hard with reason, and pinch my toes to calculate, and I must still be in the pot. Then I accompanied the waiter to the kitchen and brought out two plates of steamed bacon. Life teaches us again that happiness must be earned by ourselves.
Due to road construction, the team leader temporarily decided to take everyone to detour to Bo Niukeng. Along the way, the Ranger trekked through mountains and rivers, crossing gravel roads, gravel roads, mud roads, steep slopes, sharp turns and other special road sections. With its excellent passing performance and off-road performance, the Ranger effortlessly crushed all obstacles and arrived at the scheduled campsite. The students set up tents by themselves, washed vegetables and cooked meals, and arranged the venue. In the courtyard of a poor and lower-middle peasant in the deep mountains, a petty bourgeoisie style like spring and snow under the stars was created. Here we would like to highlight Mr. Ren, the chairman of Liberty Base Clothing Co., Ltd. from Beijing, who gave full play to his artistic skills and his flower-picking skills, and used the wild flowers, weeds and fruit drinks in the fields to arrange a small and fresh gathering place full of literature and art. . On behalf of all the students who participated in this activity, I reward Mr. Ren with a little red flower and pay him a high respect for Children’s Day.
