Not long ago, BMW released an official image of an X7 pickup concept car. The new car is built by the professional trainers of the BMW Group and the concept vehicle manufacturing and model technology department of the BMW Munich plant. The new car is based on the current BMW X7 xDrive40i and will be launched in the form of a concept car. Will be mass-produced.
In terms of appearance, the BMW X7 pickup concept car released this time retains the front face design of the mass-produced version of the X7, while simplifying the fog lights. On the side of the body, the biggest feature of the new car is that it adopts the body form of a pickup truck. The rear body is cut off and replaced with a cargo compartment. At the same time, a silver handle is set on the C-pillar.
At the rear part of the car, due to the change of the body shape, the manufacturer of the new car modified the original taillight shape of the X7 and transformed it into two small-sized taillights arranged vertically. Inside the cargo compartment, the cargo compartment of the BMW X7 concept car is paved with polished wooden floors and carbon fiber, which is full of luxury. At the same time, because the rear part of the body has been transformed into a cargo compartment, the length of the new car has increased by 100mm and the weight has been reduced by 200kg. The rear cargo compartment can accommodate a BMW F 850 GS motorcycle.
In terms of power, the new car is based on the BMW X7 xDrive40i. This model is equipped with a 3.0T turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine with a maximum power of 340 horsepower and a peak torque of 447 Nm. The transmission is matched with an 8-speed automatic transmission and a four-wheel drive system. Unfortunately, there is no plan for mass production of the car in the future, and whether it will launch a pickup truck model in the future depends on the plans of the BMW Group.
