Brad Jennings is the owner of an equipment operator in Largo, Florida, and a veteran car fan. His first car was a 1991 Chevrolet Camaro. The Camaro is indeed a very classic model, but Brad’s hobby turned to taller and bigger pickups, so the Camaro became this 2008 Ford F-350. With the in-depth understanding of pickup trucks, the plan to modify this pickup truck was successfully put on the agenda, so there was this tall and mighty F-350 in front of me.
Brad wasn’t alone, and he approached Dunedin-based Hardcore Trucks Offroad and Performance to get his pickup modified. It can also be seen from the photos that Brad determined that the focus of the modification is the suspension system. Except for the 14-inch lift kit (Precision Metal Fabrication), the front and rear suspensions have been replaced with four-link suspensions. It can be seen that Brad is radical. You know The general suspension upgrade is only for the rear suspension part, but this time Brad chose to upgrade the front and rear synchronously. The combination of FOX shock absorbers and Eibach springs is very ideal. The original final transmission ratio of the front and rear axles is 4.10:1, and it is equipped with Mag-Hytec axle housings for protective coverage. In order to further highlight the modified and upgraded parts, Brad chose Green for uniform chassis paint. The four tires are Toyo Open Country M/T tires with a specification of 40×15.5R22, and the rims are American Force Burnout SS8 with a size of 22×14.
The F-350 gets a custom grille and Road Armor front and rear bumpers, as well as a custom hood, and AMP electric folding pedals are a must-have for a pickup of this height. The exhaust section has also been reworked, with two stout exhaust pipes erected in front of the cargo box. Recon’s lighting package includes headlights, taillights, and auxiliary brake lights; the fog lights are PIAA brand, and the LED spotlights on the roof are AutoZone products.
The interior of the car has also undergone a comprehensive upgrade. The brownish-yellow interior of the original car has been replaced with black leather and suede leather decoration. The Pioneer ACH-X8500 BHS head has CD/DVD/SAT/MP3/Bluetooth functions, and integrates the function of reversing images; the three power amplifiers are an 800-watt TI2800.1 matching 12-inch speaker unit and two 125 Watt’s TI21600.5 matches the 10-inch speaker unit; there are two additional 6.5-inch speaker units in the rear cargo box, and rear passengers can also enjoy a 15.2-inch monitor. The most unique thing is the bubble machine in the middle. This is also the creative work of Brad on the Camaro. This equipment is completed by the Automotive Custom Group in Clearwater, Florida.
In terms of power, the 6.4-liter diesel engine under the hood has been replaced with an AFE intake and a 4-inch exhaust front section. The computer has also been fine-tuned, and the specific degree of improvement is unclear. For Brad and his girlfriend, in addition to hoping to take this car to the SEMA auto show, daily use and weekend trips all depend on this pickup truck, so it can be seen that Brad has also made a lot of comfort Of course, such a drastic upgrade and refit cannot expect too much comfort and convenience, but Brad has tried his best to do his best.
