Carlex Design has launched a Ranger modification program that focuses more on high-speed off-road performance.
This modified program is named VR/46. In terms of power, this modified program is still equipped with a Ford Ranger 3.2L Duratorq diesel engine with a maximum output of 147 kilowatts and a maximum torque of 470 Nm. The focus of the modification is on the chassis and appearance. In terms of appearance, it has been replaced with an improved front bumper and an LED auxiliary light source has been added. Underbody parts add 18-inch graphite-polished wheels and BFGoodrich all-terrain tires. It also includes MS-RT’s off-road kit, including LED auxiliary light sources on the roof, fuel tank guards, etc. As far as the appearance is concerned, this modification plan of Carlex Design has indeed enhanced the tough-guy atmosphere of Ranger a lot.
Inside the vehicle, this modified package is wrapped in Nappa leather, and the VR/46 logo is added to the position of the headrest of the seat back. The steering wheel is also wrapped in leather. According to official information from Carlex Design, the steering wheel design of the new car will greatly improve the overall comfort during high-speed off-roading.
