On June 23, with the successful launch of the last satellite, China’s Beidou navigation system successfully completed the overall deployment. As a result, Human Horizons Gaohe Automobile has realized all-weather high-precision multi-mode positioning, and made dual-redundant L3 automatic driving a reality, bringing users a safe and efficient intelligent driving experience.
As the satellite navigation system independently built by my country with the largest scale, the widest coverage and the highest performance requirements, the Beidou system integrates multiple functions such as positioning, navigation and timing, satellite-based augmentation, precise positioning, and ground-based augmentation, and can realize real-time centimeter-level navigation Navigation and positioning enhance service capabilities.

High-precision positioning and high-precision maps are essential capabilities for L3 autonomous driving. Gaohe Auto uses high-precision positioning to find real-time position and attitude, and obtains multiple information such as current road indication signals and lane lines through high-precision maps, providing necessary input for automatic driving. Coupled with steering redundancy, braking redundancy, communication redundancy, power redundancy, perception redundancy and computing redundancy, Gaohe Automobile can realize true L3 autonomous driving.
Human Horizons has been focusing on the research and development of high-precision positioning related to L3 autonomous driving. As early as May 2019, Human Horizons joined the “Beidou High-precision Positioning Open Laboratory” as one of the first members, and worked with Huawei, Baidu and other industry representatives to promote the application of 5G + Beidou’s high-precision positioning in vertical industries.

In August 2019, Human Horizons and Qianxun Location signed a strategic cooperation agreement at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference to carry out comprehensive and in-depth cooperation in the fields of autonomous driving and intelligent network connection, especially high-precision positioning.
After more than a year of development and engineering testing, Human Horizons has completed the technological breakthrough of centimeter-level high-precision positioning in vehicles, which can provide real-time and reliable geographic location information for Gaohe Auto’s dual-redundant L3 autonomous driving, bringing intelligent security to users driving experience.
