Since 2011, SignaTour Campers of Tampa, Florida, has been making the highly regarded teardrop micro campers. This year, they built their first tiny house on wheels, a relatively large 255-square-foot pastel-blue beach cabin on a 24-foot trailer.

You won’t be towing it behind a motorcycle (as you would with the SignaTour’s 7-foot, 600-pound Daytona model), but if you have a bigger vehicle and $42,500 to spend, you might It – here on the list. It is fully finished and has accessories including a two burner cooktop, 9.9 cubic foot refrigerator/freezer unit, 9,000 BTU mini-split air conditioner/heater, Eccotemp L10 water heater, and RV style water closet.

The wood-based panel siding by LP SmartSide has come in a lovely blue and is guaranteed to last for 50 years, while the metal roof and full insulation in the ceiling, walls and floors will also do their part to keep the elements out. In fact, dual-pane low-E windows are similarly strong for coastal wind. The interior features an open-plan high-ceiling living area at the rear entrance, while everything else (kitchen, bathroom and loft) is at the front. This, combined with the exceptionally generous distribution of countertop and cabinet space, turns the kitchen area into a cave, but a cozy and functional cave from which you can easily cook a meal.
