Starting from July 1 this year, the auto market has officially ushered in the “National Six” era! How do the major car companies in the RV accept the recruitment? Possessing differentiated competitiveness is undoubtedly the key to success. In this regard, SAIC Maxus, one of the domestic automobile production giants, has launched a new National VI standard diesel “SAIC π” engine. It will also be equipped with T70, V80plus, V90, and various models including D90.
The new SAIC π engine is mainly divided into two types: 2.0L diesel single-turbocharged and twin-turbocharged. Among them, the single-turbocharged engine is mainly equipped with T70 and V80plus, which are used for refitting RVs, and the new model V90 that car enthusiasts care about. The twin-turbocharged version is expected to be launched at the end of the year, mainly equipped with the D90 (sports utility vehicle).
In terms of technology, it adopts 2000bar high-pressure common rail fuel system and crankshaft offset technology, which has more precise combustion control and reduces fuel consumption while improving piston efficiency. The water-controlled intercooler can further improve engine efficiency, and the continuously variable turbo intake system can make oil and gas mix evenly and burn more fully. At the same time, the application of separate cooling, two-stage variable displacement oil pump and other technologies is destined to perform extraordinary. Especially for the handling of NVH, you will almost forget that this is a diesel car while sitting in the car. Comparable to the international top 2.0T diesel engine level, it has strong core power and quiet performance.
The MAXUS T70 pickup truck RV is upgraded from the MAXUS T60. The emission standard is China VI. The vehicle size is 5365*1900*1809mm, and the wheelbase is 3155mm. ! It also comes standard with lens headlights and LED daytime running lights. At the same time, the T70 is also a diesel pick-up RV equipped with electronic power steering, open rail locks, 360-degree panoramic images, tire pressure monitoring, etc. for riders to choose flexibly.
The cockpit is very similar to the T60, and it is still familiar to everyone. It is equipped with a three-spoke multifunctional steering wheel, a 10.3-inch LCD touch screen in the center console, professional driving seats wrapped in leather, and a variety of color options for the interior. In terms of power: equipped with “SAIC π” 2.0T diesel turbocharged engine, the maximum power is 120kw/4000rpm, the peak torque is 375nm/1500-2400rpm. At the same time, the official fuel consumption per 100 kilometers is 7.5L. Compared with the T60 equipped with a VM2.8T diesel engine, the single supercharged π has a lower displacement, but the output value has increased a lot. It also makes it stand out successfully among its peers. I believe that the RV modified based on T70 will also bring us more surprises. The next issue will bring the introduction of Chase’s new model V90. Interested riders can pay attention to the RV market website and don’t miss it.
