In February 2018, I bought the Datong V80 long-axis high-roof, started the renovation in April, and completed it in February 2019.
After a 26-day trip to Hainan in a self-driving RV, I came back and made improvements to address the deficiencies. It was officially completed in April 2019 and reached its ideal state.

Come back and continue to work, the work has officially started, and the car will be dismantled first. During this process, someone told me not to throw away the disassembled items. If it fails to be changed, you can put them back together and sell the car. It seems no one thought I could change it to ah. For this reason, I decisively threw away all the dismantled things, and did not leave a way out for myself. If you fail, you will be benevolent.
I went to 4S to find a lift to support the car, but found that I didn’t know how to hang the water tank. When I went to Beijing for the first time, I only saw a happy one, so I had to go, but I still have to go to Beijing this week.
The Fangshan Auto Show this time is of such a large scale, and there are many car enthusiasts camping in it. When others look at cars, I basically have to climb under each car to see the structure and how to fix it. This time I have a bottom line in my heart. I set off from Chifeng early in the morning, hurried around for a day, and rushed back overnight. Fortunately, Chifeng is only more than 400 kilometers away from Beijing.
After I came back, I started to modify the seat first, and dismantled it in various ways. The first time I modified it, I dismantled the seat. Later, I realized that there was no need to dismantle it like this.
Start to set the water tank, I don’t want to make a standard cuboid water tank for the sake of capacity. Use 4 pieces of 5cm benzene boards to glue together, and cut according to the beam at the bottom of the car, so that the mold of the water tank is made, and the rest is to open the mold to make the water tank.
Use this spare time to install the driver’s seat with a turntable. Because of the first experience, this seat is much better than that of the co-driver.
I came back with a car of accessories, water tanks, awnings, and 210A generators, all of which have arrived.
