For a long time, there have been endless off-road programs around the Prado, but there are not many off-road performance modifications around the Lexus GX. This is not unrelated to the higher positioning of Lexus GX. And recently, the off-road modification plan for Lexus GX has also officially debuted—the Lexus GXOR concept car was officially unveiled.
This new Lexus GXOR concept car is based on the old Lexus GX, and the design concept of the whole vehicle is based on off-road adventure. Compared with the normal version of the model, the Lexus GXOR concept car has been lifted for ground clearance and replaced with a large-travel shock absorber. In order to meet the chassis upgrade, a steel control arm with a triangular street was also replaced. Also added are 160-watt solar panels, wading hoses for Safari, and roof racks for OL. The matching tires are upgraded to 275/75 R18 all-terrain tires.
In order to further enhance its off-road performance, the Lexus GXOR concept car also added a winch at the front of the car and changed the design under the front bumper. Through this detail change, the spindle-shaped air intake grille of the Lexus GX family is designed as In addition to the open structure, the appearance of the metal bumper below it also caters to the tough front shape layout of the Lexus family. The improvement of its off-road effect is relatively in place. At the same time, the side and rear of the body have also undergone corresponding protective performance upgrades.
In order to highlight its towing capacity, a Patriot x1h camping trailer is also included in the concept construction of the Lexus GXOR concept car, and a professional trailer brake controller has been upgraded for this purpose. The roof adds an aluminum toolbox and a non-slip sandboard. Inside the vehicle, the Lexus GXOR Concept features a custom trunk drawer system from Goose Gear.
In terms of power and chassis, the Lexus GXOR concept car is still equipped with a 4.6L V8 power, which matches the full-time four-wheel drive system of the all-terrain feedback system. Properly equipped, the Lexus GXOR Concept will offer a maximum towing capacity of 2948kg.
