Known as the “No. 1 in Guizhou, first-class in China, and world-renowned” Chishui River Valley Tourist Highway. As the country’s first river valley tourist road, it includes 160 kilometers of mountain roads paved with red asphalt, 154 kilometers of black paved car touring roads and the green Chishui River. You will see the red mountains and green trees of the Danxia landform, the rushing river, and you can also pass by Maotai Town, the Memorial Site of the Red Army Crossing Chishui Four Times, Xishuitu Town and other places.

Although I drove twice in 2016 and 2017, it has always been my wish to ride the most beautiful bicycle path from Kweichow Moutai to Chishui. Riding the most beautiful Chishui River Valley I have three itinerary plans: 1. Self-drive from Kunming to Maotai Town, rent a bicycle and ride. 2. Take the high-speed rail or long-distance bus from Kunming to Maotai Town, and rent a bicycle to ride. 3. Drive your own car or take a high-speed rail or bus with your own folding bicycle to Maotai Town. After repeated consideration, I finally decided to take the high-speed rail and the bus with my own folding bicycle to ride in Maotai Town.
It is the first time in my life that I can take the high-speed rail with my own foldable. I have no idea whether I can take the high-speed rail with my own foldable. The answers I got when I searched online are: no, yes, etc… different answers. In order to get an accurate answer, I made a special trip to Kunming High-speed Railway South Station for consultation, and the answer I got was: as long as the maximum luggage size is not exceeded, it is okay.
D1. On April 23, 2019, I was
not sure whether I could take the high-speed rail with my own foldable bicycle. My wife and I took the foldable bicycle to take the high-speed rail with trepidation.

D2. On April 24, 2019,
I rode about 20 kilometers from Zunyi High-speed Railway Station to find the long-distance bus terminal, and took the bus for nearly 2 hours and more than 90 kilometers to Renhuai City. Then ride another 15 kilometers from Renhuai City to Maotai Town.
