Establishing its own high-end brand is what most independent car companies are doing today. In this way, not only can it enhance the brand image of its main brand, but it can also seize market segments. There are Geely Lynk & Co and Great Wall WEY on the front feet, and Chery EXEED on the back. However, unlike Lynk & Co and WEY, Chery EXEED focuses on the second-tier market, and has launched its second product, EXEED Xingtu LX, and has released the sketches of its exterior design and official interior images.
Although the design drawings will magnify the beauty of the model, it does not prevent us from finding some highlights of the car. EXEED LX is a compact SUV, which adopts a new family-style design language in terms of appearance. The shape of the headlights is still very flat, with daytime running lights running through the middle. In addition, the area surrounded by the lower part is relatively large and full of momentum. My personal guess is that it should be a model that mainly focuses on sports.
Viewed from the side, the overall line of EXEED LX is very smooth, with 19-inch petal-shaped wheels, it is full of sporty atmosphere. With the embellishment of multiple waistlines, it also shows a sense of strength. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of EXEED LX are 4533/1848/1699mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2670mm.
At the rear of the car, the wide body effect brought by EXEED LX is more obvious, and with the upper spoiler, the sense of movement is further enhanced. The taillight group also adopts a through-type design, which echoes well with the headlight group. Not only that, EXEED Xingtu LX is also expected to adopt a double-sided exhaust layout.
In terms of interior, compared with EXEED EXEED TX/TXL models, the overall visual effect of EXEED EXEED LX has been significantly improved. It is equipped with a 12.3-inch instrument panel and LCD screen, which is full of technology. The through-type air outlet of the air conditioner is matched with the touch buttons below to keep up with the current trend. Not only that, EXEED Xingtu LX also added wood grain veneer in the interior, which looks more advanced. (Although I personally don’t like “wood” appearing in the cockpit)
In terms of power, EXEED Xingtu LX will be equipped with a 1.6TGDi engine with a maximum power of 145kW (197Ps). In terms of transmission system, the engine may be matched with a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
