A few days ago, we obtained a set of 2.0T high-power model declaration drawings of GAC Trumpchi GS8 from the website of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The overall design of the new car continues the current model, but it is equipped with the third-generation 2.0T engine developed by GAC, with a maximum power of 185kW (251Ps). Compared with the 2.0T engine equipped on the current model, it has been greatly improved. It is reported that the new car will be launched in the third quarter of this year.
In terms of appearance, judging from the exposed declaration pictures, the GAC Trumpchi GS8 2.0T high-power version is basically consistent with the models currently on sale, and still adopts a very recognizable family design language, which looks very domineering. At the rear, we can see that the 390T logo is added to the tail of the new car, indicating its identity as a high-power version.
There is no relevant declaration drawing for the interior, but it is reported that it will also continue the current model. In terms of power, the new car is equipped with the latest third-generation 2.0T engine developed by GAC, with a maximum power of 185kW (251Ps), which is greatly improved compared with the 2.0T engine on the current model.
