Then I started to toss, install a gearbox oil temperature gauge, modify the oil temperature radiator, do sound insulation and heat insulation for the whole car chassis, renovate the interior, change the original FJ rear lock, etc. I like to do my own research, I really enjoy the process. Let’s talk about the gearbox and the modification of the new FJ original factory rear differential lock. 1. The oil temperature of the gearbox. When I took it into the car, the gearbox had an oil temperature sensor installed by the original owner. He modified the transmission. The tank temperature sensor method is to put a temperature sensor in the oil pan of the original car, and use the oil temperature gauge on the TB. But after I played it a few times, the sensor at the bottom of the oil began to seep out, ticking, dripping and smoking on the exhaust pipe, and then it was disassembled.
The first thing the original owner told me was to pay attention to the temperature of the gearbox. Haha, I didn’t understand the essence. The gearbox was scrapped for me within two times. After the oil was sprayed, and the oil temperature gauge was just removed, it was not found, so it was. . . Later, after dismantling the car and installing the parts, I found that when the temperature of the gearbox was high, the car turned on the gas at a high speed, but the speed could not be picked up, and the gearbox became a problem for me. It is even a heart disease. I study the working principle of the gearbox and the parts diagram every day. I have consulted a lot of information about the fault of the gearbox. Later, based on my fault performance, I deduced that there should be a problem with the torque converter. I dismantled my original broken one. The torque converter of the gearbox was refurbished and repaired by a local repairman. The first step is to quickly research and install a temperature sensor. There are two types of research. One is to install a temperature sensor in the bottom of the oil just like the original car owner. The second is to read the original car oil temperature and display it on the mobile phone or on other devices. At present, it is researching to read the original car data and connect directly with the oil temperature gauge, without opening holes in the oil bottom, and non-destructive installation. The second step is to modify the enlarged gearbox oil temperature radiator. At that time, my heart was too dark, so I bought a 30-row oil temperature radiator directly from the boss of TB. The radiator is too big, especially in winter, when running at high speed, the oil temperature can’t get up to an average of 60-70. Now when running at high speed, some cardboard blocks the radiator. but. What I want to explain is that this enlarged radiator is so cool to run in the desert. The oil temperature has never exceeded 100, and it is basically kept at 70-90. Minutes, the oil temperature quickly dropped to 70. I can’t find the picture of the modification. 2. Change the original rear axle of the new FJ with a differential lock because it mainly plays in the desert. Many people here think that the rear differential lock is useless in the desert. If you play in the desert, then I hope you It doesn’t take much in the desert, just break the front half shaft once, and you’ll see how useful the rear insert is in the desert. I used to play BJ40, 2.4 short axis, although the power is not big, but the short axis, I changed the front and rear bars and the front and rear approach angles are very large, so it is much stronger in terms of passability and escape ability. I think I just got this GX470 When I drove it, I really wanted to throw it away, and it didn’t go well. I’ve learned to drive the 47 now, but I’m still afraid to drive the 47 alone. So if the technology is not good, then rely on equipment. Adding a rear lock can greatly improve the ability to get out of trouble. In terms of rear lock selection, I studied ARB’s air lock, vacuum lock, and automatic mechanical differential lock. Later, I chose the rear axle differential of the original Toyota FJ factory. Speed lock, the reason is that the original car owner has a set of original factory FJ rear axle with rear differential lock, there were some abnormal noises before, hahaha, I’m coming over and playing with it first, the key is to save money. The original car owner told me that FJ has a module that controls the rear differential lock of the original car. I need to buy that module to control the rear plug-in. Later, I asked about a module that cost more than 1,000 to dismantle the car. It does not have a wiring harness, so I will study it myself. Toss it. Researched the rear lock actuator, researched the control circuit, started to make wiring harnesses, made controls, loaded the car and found a friend’s repair shop, and changed the rear axle. When changing the bridge, I found the rear axle of FJ and GX470, which is the rear axle balance bar of LC120. The set is different.
