There is a kind of love called understanding, and there is a kind of love called companionship.
I still remember the appearance when I first met you, the road we walked together, the scenery we enjoyed together, from strange to familiar, everything is so beautiful.
Join hands for ten years, meet in Shuanglang!
This trip to Yunnan is locked in Shuanglang and Lijiang, a petty bourgeoisie with scenery, stories, flowers and wine, and it is also a place that many literary and artistic youths yearn for. I am very surprised why I came here. In fact, I still like the snow-capped mountains on the plateau, the lakes on the plateau and the wilderness in the wind more often. After passing through Dali and Lijiang many times, I don’t really feel much, but this time, the “story” that happened in just two days completely overturned my original cognition.
The protagonists of the story are a car owner couple from Jiangxi, a fan of Changan Mazda CX-5, a bald Benben (Note: Net name, hereinafter referred to as “Benben”) who has never met before, and his virtuous daughter-in-law Yier. From Brother Qing’s previous travel notes, he has a general understanding of Benben. He is an “amateur” photographer and traveler with a bright head, and a good man who always takes his wife with him when he travels. That’s all.
It was originally planned to fly from Beijing to Mangshi on the 25th, but it was delayed by one day due to the busy business of the unit. The other team members arrived first on the 25th, and I flew directly to Dali on the 26th. In order not to delay the flight at 6:30 in the morning, I went directly to the airport when I was busy at work until after 12:00 at night, saving the room fee and getting up early. Now the civil aviation flight control is much better than before. Not only are there fewer flight delays, but there are even a few flights that arrive early. I am one of the lucky few who arrived at Dali Huangcaoba Airport 20 minutes ahead of schedule.
The weather in Dali is as hot as ever. Although it is not summer, the bright sunshine has shown its warm side. Walking out of Dali Airport, my colleague Ju Ge, who came to pick me up, was already waiting in a red Changan Mazda CX-5. I have a natural love for red vehicles, which may be due to my personality, but I like people or things that are passionate. Brother Ju drove the three editors of our editorial department to Dali City, the white clouds flowed in the sky outside the car, and the bright sunshine poured down. This is in stark contrast to the cold and rainy day in the desert a few days ago. I was shivering in the Tengger Desert wearing short sleeves the day before yesterday, and I was wrapped in the warm sunshine of Dali at this time, full of happiness.
“Benben and his wife are from Jiangxi. They arrived in Kunming yesterday by plane from Nanchang. Today they will drive to Shuanglang with friends from Kunming to meet us.” Brother Ju introduced while driving.
It is about 10 kilometers from Dali Huangcaoba Airport to the urban area, and it is very smooth to drive into the urban area. But Benben and his friends were not so lucky. They came out of Kunming at 9:00 a.m. and were stuck on the expressway two hours later. It seems that the traffic jam is not only the patent of Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and the Kunming-Dalian Expressway in the southwestern border is also jammed in full swing at the moment.
Dali is located in the transportation hub of southwestern Yunnan, where the Yunnan-Myanmar Highway and the Yunnan-Tibet Highway intersect. In ancient times, it was an important transfer station for the “Shushen Poison Road” and the “Tea-Horse Road”. Laos, Vietnam and other countries. The most famous ones in Dali are Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake. “Cangshan Mountain Nature and Nanzhao Cultural Relics” are national natural and cultural heritages. This place has been a place longed for by tourists since ancient times. Yang Shengan, a famous literati in the Ming Dynasty, wrote a poem describing that “the mountains are verdant and green, and the sea is half-moon-covered blue”, “when you look at the blue sky, you don’t feel refreshed and fly over”.
Since today’s destination is Shuanglang, we went to Shuanglang Town, 50 kilometers away, without stopping in Dali City. Shuanglang Town is located on the northeast coast of Erhai Lake, northeast of Dali City. Because the gate faces the blue Erhai Lake and overlooks the nineteen peaks of Cangshan Mountain, it is known as “the scenery of Dali is in Cang’er, and the scenery of Cang’er is in Shuanglang”.
The distance from the airport to Shuanglang is about 60 kilometers. For me who took the Changan Mazda CX-5 for the first time, I still intuitively felt the comfort and quietness of the vehicle. First of all, I am 180mm tall and I am quite satisfied with the space of Changan Mazda CX-5. Thanks to the 2700mm wheelbase, it creates a better sense of space. The rear seat cushion is relatively large, which can provide good leg support, and the seating space is spacious, which is at a normal level in the same class. As a compact SUV, it does not feel too cramped.
Around the beginning of 2000, among the few car manufacturers at that time, I first met the Mazda brand. I often see Mazda 323, Mazda 626, Mazda 929 and other models on the street. Compared with the three popular domestic brands of Santana, Jetta and Fukang, owning a Mazda 323 is definitely a matter of face, and I had it at that time The first car in life – Mazda 323.
Dali in my impression only has Cangshan Erhai Lake and Fenghuaxueyue beer. In the past, I really didn’t notice this ancient town that gathers the essence of Cangerhai. It seems that I am ignorant.
“Beside Cangshan and Erhai Lake, you are by my side. This summer is different from before.” Xiaoqian’s cheerful song echoed in the car, which fit the occasion. What is widely praised is the classic. After many years, this melody is still so attractive. The 9-speaker Bose® sound system is really good, and the pure sound quality makes people feel that they are not in a moving car, but in a living room at home.
Shuanglang is a place with a long history. According to legend, the naval base of Dali Kingdom in Nanzhao during the Tang and Song Dynasties was located here. So far, Shuanglang still retains 14 cultural relics. In the afternoon, arrive at Shuanglang Town. In the free time waiting for the stupid couple, we shuttled through the streets and alleys of Shuanglang Town, trying to find the traces of history and quaint folk customs.
Regrettably, like most ancient towns, Shuanglang is in the process of commercialization. The streets are full of buildings under construction, inns and shops under renovation, just like a long construction site street. This simple ancient town Is gradually losing the original things. Over the years, development has become a high-sounding reason for economic development. As everyone knows, while you gain immediate benefits from development, you lose the original priceless material heritage and simple folk customs.
According to Du Niang’s information, Shuanglang used to be a small fishing village. Most of the residents in the village made a living by fishing in the Erhai Lake and growing rice and tobacco leaves, and more than 80% of the residents were Bai people. Because it is surrounded by small islands on both sides, it is named “Shuanglang”.
The tourism industry in Shuanglang Town started relatively late, but it has developed rapidly. Today, Shuanglang Town is already a very popular place. The demand of the market has led to a sharp increase in the demand of the inn and catering industry. Most of the roads are lined with residential inns of different styles, especially those near the Erhai Lake. Although many inns in the ancient town are under construction and expansion, the line near the Erhai Lake shows a natural and attractive side.
We stayed at the Pomegranate Seaview Resort Hotel located at the north end of the ancient town. The appearance of the inn is not very eye-catching, but there is a hidden cave inside. The first floor is a small and elegant coffee shop. The second floor and above are 270-degree sea view rooms, 180-degree sea view rooms and other rooms. It is presented in front of your eyes at a glance. Get close to the Erhai Lake at zero distance, enjoy the life of slowing down, and let your thoughts blend into the still time. I think this is probably the reason why people want to stop when they come here.
At this moment, my mood is the same.
It was late in the afternoon when I saw the Benben couple. It took nearly a day to travel more than 300 kilometers from Kunming to Dali.
“Bright and sunny” is the first impression Benben gave me. There is a kind of wisdom revealed in his endless words. It seems that he is a person who is easy to get along with, and Benben’s daughter-in-law Yier is listening silently Follow our conversation, be quiet and talk less. In a corner of the hotel, waiting for everyone to leave, Benben and I had our first communication.
The honeymoon trip to Shuanglang 10 years ago made the benben couple fall in love with this place. It is not only the witness of the young couple’s love, but also the “distance” they dream of.
“I can’t say why, but I just like it here, and I feel free and comfortable physically and mentally here.” Benben said thoughtfully.
“In the past 10 years, this is the sixth time I have come here. Every time I come here to live for a few days, I feel happy physically and mentally, especially when I can find the feeling that two people are deeply attached to each other.”
“Yi’er said that the days in Shuanglang were the happiest.” Benben recalled. “We’re here whenever we get the chance.”
In fact, the memory of the honeymoon has been engraved on the Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake at dusk. Although time slips away quietly between our fingers and we cannot retain the fleeting time, this relationship has been deeply buried in our hearts.
With the deepening of the communication, I feel more and more that the saying “grass does not grow on the head of wisdom” can only be applied to Benben. Benben is not only an “amateur” photographer, but also a traveler who likes to travel around the world. From the first trip with a group to the later self-driving tour, Benben’s travel experience is almost crazy. He has unique insights and deep insights into photography, travel, life, and feelings. I have always been curious about this couple who have been in love for 10 years. What makes them accompany each other, walk hand in hand, and their relationship grows deeper? In two days, I finally found the answer.
The Erhai Lake in the twilight shows her most beautiful side. The golden rays shine directly on the water surface through the thick clouds.
In this way, the whole person is drunk in the world of Cangshan Erhai!
When the night comes, facing Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake, the sky is full of stars, and the sound of waves curls outside the window.
It was a surprise to meet Shuanglang, and it was a kind of fate to meet the Benben couple.
