HondaJet leads world in first half of 2019 for small jet deliveries

Honda’s aircraft business subsidiary, Honda Aircraft Company (hereinafter referred to as HACI), announced that in the first half of 2019 (January-June), HondaJet delivered 17 aircraft to global users. Maintain the No. 1 global delivery volume in 2019.

HondaJet Elite is an advanced small business jet, which adopts Honda’s independent development technology. In addition to the engine layout above the main wing, it also adopts a new noise-reducing engine inlet structure design, a new avionics system and safety control technology, etc. As a result, it has achieved the highest level* maximum speed, maximum flight altitude, maximum cruising range and fuel economy, spacious interior space and large-capacity luggage compartment. At present, HondaJet is sold in China, North America, Europe, Central and South America, Southeast Asia, India, the Middle East and Japan, and more than 130 HondaJets have been used all over the world. In August 2019, HondaJet passed the most stringent standards set by the Civil Aviation Administration of China and obtained China’s type certification issued by the agency. After that, HACI plans to deliver the HondaJet to Chinese customers within 2019.
