The self-driving tour in the fourth season of 2019 came to the land of Russia from the port of Mongolia. Although it is the fourth season, the feeling is different every time. As time goes on, you can feel that the roads in Russia are getting better and better. I remember that during the self-driving tour in the second season of 2016, there were many bumpy road sections on thousands of kilometers of roads, but now more and more road sections have been repaired, and there are few bad roads. Furthermore, with the continuous friendly development of China and Russia, Russian people It feels better and better to us Chinese along the way! On April 20th, it took six and a half hours for ten RVs, ten families, and a total of 24 people to go out from Mongolia and enter Russia. The friends successfully cleared all the customs without trouble and fatigue. Once they entered Russia, they clearly felt that the land of Russia was green, unlike the dry and desolate land of Mongolia. All the riders drove about 50 kilometers all the way to the border. In a small county town, after I found a Russian car insurance company in 2016, I saw that the gate was locked, and there were curious Russians who came to see the novelty, and we explained our purpose. The kind Russian called the insurance company, and a lady came after a while. Old John said that he had bought insurance here in 2016. The Russian lady laughed and said she still remembered me. After opening the door and entering the insurance company, she explained that we have ten RVs this year. She seemed a little dizzy. She called immediately, and a man and a woman came again after a while. I realized that she was calling for help, and she was too busy at the moment. Come on, just like this, I gave them all the RV information, and they started to handle it. Fortunately, our RV can be parked in the parking lot in front of the insurance company that night, so that everyone can rest assured and start busy preparing their own dinners. Fortunately, they The three of them are so busy, they have completed all the car insurance before dark, and after paying, they will give a small gift from China. As soon as Old John’s team entered Novosibirsk, Russia, a car friend from Anhui celebrated his 50th birthday. We found a Chinese restaurant in the local area to celebrate together. Unexpectedly, the owner of the restaurant was from Qingdao and settled here more than 20 years ago.

After a day of repairing in Novosibirsk, all the riders continued westward to the dividing line of the Eurasian continent. On this dividing line, we have two continents on each side, with Asia on one side and Europe on the other. Since then, we have officially entered the land of Euro Europe.
After crossing the dividing line of the Eurasian continent, we arrived in Ufa on May 8th, and the next day, May 9th, happened to be Russia’s annual commemoration of the victory of World War II. In order to visit this event, all riders stopped in Ufa for a day to see the annual commemorative events all over Russia.
On May 10th, all the riders will start from Ufa, Russia and continue westward towards Moscow. When parking or camping along the way, there will be friendly Russian people enthusiastically taking pictures or giving them gifts to our Chinese riders. Due to space limitations, we cannot I showed you one by one. After wind and rain all the way, of course there are also clear sky and white clouds and beautiful scenery, everyone finally arrived at the RV campsite in Moscow, the capital of Russia. This condition can be said to be the happiest time since departure from China, when all riders have a day of rest and replenishment. On the second night after arriving in Moscow, everyone gathered and chatted together, talking about the ups and downs and good times along the way. Since we were just passing by on our way to Moscow, we did not visit any tourist attractions. We will visit again when we return to Russia from Finland in August.
There are many Weibo friends and RV riders who follow our itinerary all the way, and some riders often ask whether there will be problems with my Iveco chassis RV after traveling tens of thousands of kilometers. The RV is divided into two parts, one is the chassis, and the other is the furniture and home decoration part. The home decoration part can be said to have constant minor problems, and all RV riders know it. This year, I have driven my Iveco around Eurasia four times. I can say that Iveco chassis is the only load-bearing RV chassis in China. The machine is relatively reliable.
