Husband and wife, self-driving Tule to Tibet, 36 Tianqing in and out! (one)

Everyone says that Tibet is a place that you must go to in your life, like a grand invitation, and you dare not go there casually. I thought in my heart that I must be fully prepared before going. Longer holidays, more bank card numbers, thinner, more beautiful…

But if you think about it too much, you won’t be able to start. This time it was just a video chat with friends, and I wanted to go to a place with a sense of ritual and suitable for relaxing. So the journey of walking away began. Thanks to my friends for your courage, otherwise I have a premonition that the Tibet Guild will be postponed without limit.

This trip was planned about 1 month in advance, and I started to prepare, mainly relying on my wife, who broke my heart!

Vehicle: 10,000 kilometers of Patrol, a small modification was made before going out, a 40-liter auxiliary fuel tank was added, and 5 BFGoodrich KO2 all-terrain tires were replaced.

Personnel: I usually like to visit museums, ancient buildings and so on. Therefore, my request for the route is to take care of some cultural landscapes as much as possible without detours. Our family got into a drone before we set off, and went out to take pictures of the blue sky, white clouds, clear water, and green grass.

Wallet status: I quit my job and went out, so I dare not waste too much money where I can save. But it’s about health and safety, and you won’t feel wronged if you should spend it.

This trip stopped in Lhasa for a total of 3 times, two of which were longer:

The first time I took the Qinghai-Tibet line to Tibet and rested in Lhasa for a few days, visited Bugong, Norbulingka, Jokhang Temple, Drepung Monastery, Sera Monastery, and then went to Nepal ;

The second time was to stop for a while after returning from Nepal, and then started to take the Ali Grand Ring Road;

The third time I came back from Ali, my body was a bit heavy, so I stopped for a few days, went to Samye Monastery and Chubu Monastery, and then took G317 out

We entered Tibet for 36 days, entered Qinghai-Tibet, took the Ali Ring Road, and exited on 317. The highest altitude is 5600, and it lasts for more than a week at 4500 during Ali.

[Let’s talk about high anti-reaction]

Taking the Qinghai-Tibet line, passing the Kunlun Mountain Pass and Tanggula Mountain Pass at about 5200, there was no response, but after staying in Nagqu for one night, I won the lottery the next morning. I felt dizzy, nauseous, and caught a bad cold.

Disposal: Immediately soak saffron in water (oral liquid and capsules are nonsense, it is most effective to drink only Rhodiola soaked in water before entering Tibet); bring your own car oxygen generator, of course, it can also be connected to AC. Emergency oxygen inhalation in bed for 2 hours in the morning. Around noon, he came back to life again.

Later, I stayed in Namtso for another night. I also felt uncomfortable when I got up early the next day, but I didn’t take any measures, because I didn’t allow the body to adapt to blindly inhale oxygen, and artificially produced dependence on oxygen, which was not conducive to the long-term Tibetan area later. journey. There was no high reaction in the whole process.

[General experience (everyone says so)]

High reverse has two thresholds, 3000 and 5000. People who do not have a high reaction rate at 3,000 will generally not be able to discount at around 4,000.

If you can stick to 5000, maybe you can challenge 7000 after the necessary training.

[personal suggestion]

Be sure to keep warm and don’t catch a cold;

Be sure not to be brave, strenuous exercise will increase the burden on the body;

If driving, it is a good idea to bring some oxygen supplies, such as medical oxygen tanks or portable oxygen concentrators. Dry oxygen is useless, oxygen must be humidified to work! We didn’t actually use the oxygen generator, but having it in the car felt very at ease.

Commonly used medicines should be prepared in sufficient quantities. Related to the “suspected” high reaction, we have prepared enough Rhodiola Rosea, Huoxiang Zhengqi, Vitamin C Effervescent Tablets…

Day 1: Beijing – Suide, Shaanxi

Husband and wife, self-driving Tule to Tibet, 36 Tianqing in and out! (one)

Uh, everyone, don’t laugh at that lonely little red bucket, it has played a lot of roles in Tibet…

When we arrived in Suide, it was already night, so I won’t say much.

Day 2: Shaanxi Suide-Qinghai Minhe

Although Minhe is not big, it is a place with a great accent. We stayed at the Six Continents International Hotel, and the accommodation and catering conditions were very good (mainly because it was Ramadan when we went, and Minhe was mainly Hui people, so it was really not easy to find something to eat).

According to experts’ research, Dayu’s hometown is in Minhe. It is said that there are many remnants of Dayu’s water control relics in the Lajia site in Lajia Village, Guanting Town, Minhe County. Some people say that the Lajia site is the ancient city of Pompeii in the East. Because of the limited time, and the fact that the remains of this primitive society and its remains are really incomprehensible, we didn’t join in the fun.

The famous Linjin Ferry, which must pass through the southern route of the Silk Road, is also near Minhe. It is said that there are still relics in Jishishan Town on the opposite side of the road. I’m sorry, I should check it out. At that time, I only wanted to go to Tibet, but the more I thought about it afterwards, the more I regretted it.

On the other side of the Huangshui River, there is also a dinosaur fossil site in Haishiwan Town, which is the earliest dinosaur discovered in the Ganqing area. It is not my point of interest, so I didn’t go there either. It is said that there is now a dinosaur museum?

Day 3: Qinghai Minhe – Qinghai Ulan

I made a short stay in Qinghai Lake, but did not go to Bird Island. Because I have been to Qinghai Lake a few times before, just because I like it so much, I stopped along the way to let the drone out, let the driver breathe, and do a simple warm-up for the plateau trip later.

We didn’t officially enter the scenic spot, but just drove the car to the lake along the private path opened by farmers along the G109 extension line.

The so-called “ticket” prices charged by different people are different. A house we passed had a hot air balloon inside, and there were fifty or sixty cars parked inside, and those who couldn’t get in or get out were charged 50 yuan per person. We felt angry, so we continued to drive west for less than 1 kilometer. Another family only charged 20 for the whole car, and we only had two cars by the lake. The most important thing is that we can still see the hot air balloon next door. , Hahaha, I was so happy to take off.

Day 4: Qinghai Ulan – Dachaidan

In order to go to Chaka Salt Lake to watch the sunrise the next day, I lived next to the Salt Lake. The conditions are really bad, and the most important thing is that I overslept the next day!

Chaka Salt Lake, the realm of the sky, this is the first stop of this trip to buy tickets officially, but I regret it. First post the photo as a respect.

Although we missed the sunrise, we were still the first group of tourists to arrive at the salt lake. When I walked back to the center of the lake, I saw many Gu Liang in red skirts on the way to look in the mirror. The two of us covered our jackets, looked at them, and shed tears of distress. The Chaka Salt Lake in July was really too cold.

Day 5: Dachaidan – Golmud

Ever since the poet’s “Delingha”, the heart has become wild. The wasteland, lakes, and meadows are so beautiful. Dachaidan Lake, Xiaochaidan Lake, Chaerhan Salt Lake, etc. are all so beautiful. Frequently dispatched planes took some satisfactory photos. Most of the time during the day is on the road, please enjoy the beautiful Haixi~~~

I don’t know the name of the stubborn little flower that grows beside the salt lake, but I really like it~~~

Husband and wife, self-driving Tule to Tibet, 36 Tianqing in and out! (one)

There is a famous scenic spot near Chaerhan Salt Lake called “Wanzhang Salt Bridge”. Reluctantly following the three kinds of navigation, we drove several times back and forth on the high speed, but failed to appreciate the true face of Lushan Mountain. I had to put a plane at the place where the map marked the Wanzhang Salt Bridge as a souvenir

After visiting the memorial hall, I can’t wait to write a diary and give it to my teacher to express my admiration for the general. In just 7 months, I overcame the plateau climate, supply difficulties, psychological fear, and mountains and rivers, and built a 2,000-kilometer plateau sky road. I’m afraid it’s not aliens. Engineering it.

From the 6th day, we will bid farewell to General Mu, starting from Golmud, an ancient and young city, and marching into Tibet along the Qinghai-Tibet line~

Maybe everyone who walks the Qinghai-Tibet line has their own story, BUT I think this is actually the story of pony crossing the river that happened to everyone, you choose a different day, drive a different car, bring a All kinds of equipment, different physical conditions, and even how to eat a certain meal (someone probably was bullied and despised by me all the way because he ate inappropriately yesterday), will bring a different journey, which may be the reason It is the significance of us going through this high-speed road in person.

Day 7: Namtso

“Namtso” is the Tibetan language, and the Mongolian name is “Tengri Sea”, both of which mean “heavenly lake”. Namtso is one of the “Three Sacred Lakes” in Tibet.

Husband and wife, self-driving Tule to Tibet, 36 Tianqing in and out! (one)

For those who plan to take the Ali Grand Ring Road (note the “big ring road”), our route is a very typical negative teaching material! Because from the Qinghai-Tibet line to Namtso, you need to get off the expressway at Damxiong and drive more than 50 kilometers to get there. After that, you have to go back to Lhasa again!

Husband and wife, self-driving Tule to Tibet, 36 Tianqing in and out! (one)

If the plan is to take both the Ngari Great Ring Road and Namtso, the most reasonable route should be to turn clockwise to the Great Ring Road, and then go to Namtso when returning to Lhasa from the Ngari Great Northern Line. There is no need to go back and forth to the broken road of Dangxiong!
