Hello everyone, before the story of this post begins, I will first introduce the origin of Huang Gang Liang’s heart knot.
Huanggangliang is located at the southernmost tip of the Greater Khingan Mountains, and its administrative division belongs to Keshiketeng Banner, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia. The mixed coniferous and broad-leaved sparse forest and grassland landscape is a unique landscape of Huanggangliang National Forest Park. The terrain covers forests, grasslands, mountains, river valleys, sandy land, etc. The main peak of Huanggangliang is 2029 meters above sea level, which is the highest peak in Daxing’an Mountains. The hard-line family crossed Huanggangliang four times last winter, and they all came back. The natural moat that blocked us is called the “super deep snow area”. This mountain road with a width of only three or four meters has a snow depth of The depth is more than half a meter, and the snow area is hundreds of meters long, which is completely beyond the capabilities of off-road vehicles. We can only stand here and sigh! So we decided that we must come in summer!
The night before, everyone rushed to live in Rehuitang Town, ate, drank, slept, and rested. The next morning, we officially started our time travel! This time, we want to win back the battle we lost in winter…because winter really can’t beat the road conditions here, the snow is too big, it’s too difficult for me…
Sometimes we drive on alpine meadows, and sometimes we drive in the woods. It is relaxing and comfortable. It is not difficult to travel here in summer, and the beautiful scenery is unobstructed!
The convoy descended from the top of the mountain to the plain area. The vegetation here is generally well protected. We also follow the mature rutted dirt road instead of driving directly on the grass. We will not forget to protect the nature while feeling the nature. Grasslands protect the ecological environment.
Our convoy climbed back to the top of the mountain from the other side of the ridge. The top of this mountain is the main peak of Huanggangliang. There are many wind power generation windmills installed on the top of the mountain, because the mountain wind here is very strong, and wind power is also a kind of clean energy, which can better benefit mankind. . Going forward next is the super deep snow area check-in we are most looking forward to!
The two most handsome LC120s in this team. In addition to these two cars, the other models in this team are Pajero, Jinchang, Haval H5, Paladin, Everest, BAIC 212, and Land Rover Discovery 5.
Arriving in the super deep snow area, I waited for half a year to express my anger! Just to wait for the deep snow here to be enlightened, to set foot on this piece of natural moat that was once insurmountable! The place where the team parks now has at least half a meter of snow in winter! This hillside faces north and is a windward slope. The wind and snow blowing from the north just happen to accumulate on this windward slope.
This is the “super deep snow area” in winter, and the stick is inserted more than half a meter deep. Our kind of off-road vehicle doesn’t even need to try, it’s completely useless… In the end, we have to turn back and look for other routes.
Driving through the “Super Deep Snow Area” and passing through an abandoned mountain road full of gravel, we successfully completed the trip to Huanggangliang, and then we will drive non-stop to the Hunshandake Sandy Land to camp. A friend celebrates his birthday, and celebrating his birthday with a trip and camping is the highest standard birthday celebration for our off-roaders!
Get up early in the morning and prepare for today’s crossing~
The convoy continued to cross to today’s destination: Luanhe Trail. Located at the junction of Inner Mongolia and Hebei, it is famous for its watery roads and beautiful scenery.
When we first arrived at the muddy spot on the Luanhe Trail, we encountered a series of car traps in front of us. When I rescued me, I was trapped again, so there are not many photos left. This route is a beach in summer. Mud, a lump of ice in winter!
After crossing the Luanhe Trail, our two-and-a-half-day trip to Inner Mongolia is coming to an end, and everyone will return to Beijing immediately after arriving on the paved road. Finally, we send a group photo of our family for this event, which was taken at the Hunshandake Sandy Campground in Duolun County, Inner Mongolia. Thank you all for watching!
