As soon as I entered Mongolia, the radio waves of the mobile phone disappeared in the vast Gobi and wilderness, and then after entering the land of Russia, except for some signals in villages and cities, other virgin forests also had no radio waves. I have been paying attention to the old people for several years. John’s friends who travel around Eurasia by car, I apologize!
Closer to home! In 2016, the world’s five families in Old John’s RV left Xinjiang for the first time to Mongolia. At that time, there was a section of road that was very bad, but this year’s situation is very different. Chinese road builders have built all the roads of more than 100 kilometers. It’s over, but due to some problems with the local government, only a few roads of more than 30 kilometers have not been opened. It is said that they will be opened after the government election. Not much to say, let’s take a look at the beautiful pictures of Mongolia’s customs and customs along the way.
The riders who traveled around Eurasia in 2018 came to Urumqi RV campsite to see us off, thank you!
Departing from Urumqi Nanshan Sunshine RV Campground to Takeshken Town, Qinghe County, the local government and tourism department held a grand welcome ceremony for all riders, thank you here!
Arrived in Khovd, the first provincial capital city of Mongolia, all the riders camped in the parking lot of one of the best local hotels. For dinner, we all tasted a Mongolian meal. Due to the lack of local vegetarian dishes, the dinner was mainly meat.
Arriving in Ugailee, Mongolia, the local tour guide prepared Mongolian barbecue salad dishes for all the riders, and everyone cheered up together! On the second day after arriving in Ugelie, all the riders corrected the day and visited the city casually. Due to the sparse population, the physical construction could not be compared with that in China. On the third day, they went to the Russian border port to exit the customs and enter the Russian land.
The border ports from Mongolia to Russia have limited economic conditions, so the construction of border ports is also very simple.
All inspections and customs clearance at the Mongolian port of departure went very smoothly. Ten RVs and ten families took three hours. Haha, it’s not too simple to say that it went so smoothly. Let’s talk about inside information after dinner!
As soon as we entered the land of Russia that day, the natural conditions were very different from those in Mongolia. There were green mountains and green waters everywhere, so we chose a primeval forest scenic area to camp and set up a camp. When all my car friends also enjoyed a Russian Authentic sauna. The temperature is extremely high, and some riders just shout… can’t stand it, can’t stand it! But everyone was really refreshed.
Thank you for your continued attention and love! The Russian travelogue will be published soon.
