Crewe, 11 March 2020 Mulliner, Bentley’s personal bespoke division, has crafted a bespoke new Continental GT Convertible Equestrian Edition, the first for the division’s Mulliner team.
The new Continental GT Convertible Equestrian Special Edition adopts a series of ingenious design details, once again interpreting the new possibilities of ultra-luxury sports touring convertible cars. The car draws inspiration from the famous racecourse and the prestigious Cheltenham Festival (Cheltenham Festival), and is customized by the Mulliner department of Bentley Motors’ headquarters in Crewe, UK. To celebrate the origin of the new model and equestrian sports, the new Continental GT convertible equestrian special model was recently filmed at Jackdaws Castle in the UK, which is a well-known equestrian training ground in the UK, and the famous rider Jonjo O’Neill is also here Race ready, about 16 kilometers from Cheltenham Racecourse.
The new Continental GT Convertible Equestrian Special Edition contains exquisite hand-embroidered and inlaid craftsmanship to achieve extraordinary customization. The four seats are all made of materials that conform to the concept of sustainable development, in saddle brown (Saddle) color, and carefully decorated with exclusive equestrian logos. The Cumbrian Green color scheme in the cockpit further enhances the beauty of customization. Straight-grained walnut monochrome wood veneer with luxurious golden design details, with boxwood inserts, embellished with the equestrian logo in the same style as the seat, which complements the “MULLINER” lettering below, complete the modern aesthetic style.
In the luxury cabin, the door trim and rear roof side panels are decorated with the signature diamond quilting embroidery process, which is organically combined with the delicate and elegant tweed material, with contrasting bright blue stitching, creating a unique modern cabin atmosphere . In addition, the welcome pedal decorated with the exclusive words of “MULLINER” waits for customers to step into the car, so as to add a distinguished and exclusive experience.
The all-new Continental GT Convertible Equestrian Special features an ingenious Spruce Green (Spruce) exterior paint color, which complements the Blackline Specification (Blackline Specification). The package replaces bright chrome trim, component surrounds, radiator grille, and exhaust pipes with a gloss black design, paired with sporty 22-inch Mulliner Driving Specification wheels.
The new Continental GT Convertible Equestrian Special Edition is equipped with a series of Bentley’s advanced driver assistance features.
