The annual SEMA modification show is about to kick off again. At this year’s SEMA refit show, Jeep will bring a series of upgraded products equipped with Mopar refit kits. A few days ago, a Wrangler-based modification program was officially launched.
From the appearance point of view, the modification style of this Jeep Wrangler is a typical climbing modification, but on the basis of the traditional climbing car, it seems that some crossing appeals have been added. So the style presented by the whole car is very unique.
In terms of details, Mopar’s package optimization for this Jeep Wrangler includes hollowed-out tubular doors and lifts for the chassis. In consideration of some demands for long-distance crossing, the size of the tires has not been enlarged too much. The lifting range of the lifting kit is 2 inches, and the suspension travel is also kept in a relatively balanced range.
In detail, this modified version of the Wrangler features a Mopar-style bumper, while adding a wading hose and winch. This also expands its adaptable crossing routes. However, this fully convertible body is still not so friendly to long-distance off-road crossings.
In terms of power, it is equipped with a 3.0L V6 diesel engine, which is matched with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The maximum output power is 260 horsepower and the maximum torque is 600 Nm. It is reported that this modified version of the Wrangler will be the first to appear in the movie.
