The much-anticipated 2019 Bauma construction machinery exhibition was held in Munich, Germany from April 8th to 14th. Working vehicles for recycling transportation, urban construction, road construction, etc., the heavy-duty off-road Iveco Astra HHD9 and Iveco Stralis X-way series specially developed for construction logistics, and the new generation of Iveco Daily 4×4.
Waste transport – IVECO Stralis NP
For the waste recycling industry, the IVECO natural gas-powered Stralis NP 6×2 truck mounted crane tipper truck offers the perfect solution, with the advantage of extremely clean and quiet transport. This is a representative vehicle series specially developed by Iveco for construction logistics, providing a perfect solution for road applications that require off-road mobility. It combines IVECO’s best fuel efficiency, safety technology, solid body and super off-road performance to provide users with high productivity with the best payload and excellent TCO. Iveco Stralis X-WAY can easily climb over off-road sections during transportation. The new Hi-Traction hydrostatic drive device can drive the front wheels to provide additional traction when necessary, improving the stability of the vehicle and the driver’s ability to get out of trouble on complex terrain .
Quarry mining – Iveco Astra
In the field of quarrying and mining, IVECO is equipped with new Euro VI IVECO Astra HHD98x6 tipper trucks with a gross mass of 65 tons. This heavyweight is equipped with a 24m3 reinforced airframe, fully automatic gearbox and special CE certified mechanical equipment. The Astra displayed this time is specially designed for heavy-duty construction and heavy-duty off-road applications such as oil and gas extraction, mining and quarrying. A good helper for urban construction – the new IVECO Daily 4×4
The latest Iveco Daily 4×4 is placed in the urban building area. It is the first 7-ton 4×4 with a payload of up to 4,300 kg and a body length of up to 5 meters. As the latest generation of IVECO Daily 4×4 models, the development of this series is based on unlimited passability, exceptional robustness and high driving comfort. The off-roader is available with an all-new four-wheel-drive configuration, an exclusive Hi-Matic automatic transmission and a van body. The product range currently features 3.5-tonne, 5.5-tonne and 7-tonne chassis in single-cab and double-cab configurations; and 5.5-tonne and 7-tonne vans with a choice of single-tire off-road and twin-tire all-terrain configurations. For single-tire off-road, the van has a loading volume of 9 to 18 cubic meters, and for the twin-tire all-terrain model, the loading capacity can be maximized at 16 to 18 cubic meters. Additionally, the Daily 4×4 light off-road is powered by an F1C Euro VI 3.0-litre engine rated at 180 hp and 430 Nm of torque. In addition, user options such as ABS brakes and the Electronic Stability Program (ESP) system developed specifically for 4×4 vehicles ensure top braking performance and durability.
