In terms of details, as a high-performance version of the model, the Suzuki Jimny Gen maintains the same design as the regular version of the Jimny, except that some decals are added to the protective panels on the side of the body. All the performance of the vehicle comes from the upgrade of the chassis.
According to the details released by Suzuki, the ground clearance of the new Suzuki Jimny Gen has been increased by 100 mm. The entire chassis upgrade kit is derived from the modification called Zanfi. The suspension and lifting kits of the chassis are all painted in red. In order to cope with the greater ground clearance, the springs, shock absorbers, and Panhard connecting rods have also been redesigned, making the minimum ground clearance reach 310mm. The springs feature a green paint scheme.
In addition, the Suzuki Jimny Gen also provides a detachable anti-roll bar to further release suspension travel, just like the Wrangler Rubicon, and the drive shaft has also been strengthened. In terms of chassis protection, the Jimny Gen has fully optimized the gearbox, transfer case, and rear axle housing, especially the guard plate of the rear axle housing. The matching tires are 235/75 mud tires, and the wheels remain the same as those of the regular version. However, a 30mm flange is added behind the tire, so that the Jimny Gen can meet the installation of larger-sized tires.
