In June of this year, Li Shuanglin won the national championship of the diesel professional modification group of the China Automobile Off-Road Championship with his stable performance. 1. I am willing to discover the new value of life in the period of not staining the world
He started doing business with his father when he was around 15 years old, and drove a truck when he was 20-22 years old. In the past few years, Li Shuanglin, who didn’t know much about financial management, failed to save any money. When my company expanded to 300 employees, no one would have thought that Li Shuanglin, who was so powerful in the business field at this time, would choose to retire bravely, reduce the size of the company, and concentrate on becoming a racing driver.
I am very curious about the story of such an entrepreneur who became attached to racing cars, and Li Shuanglin told me that falling in love with racing cars was purely accidental. At the beginning, he held the mentality of “making soy sauce” and “playing for fun”, but later he found that he fell in love with racing and determined to become a professional driver. There are more than 200 days in a year, either in racing or on the road. Although the life of a professional driver is very hard and tiring, Li Shuanglin, who has found a new life value and direction because of this, said: “I am very happy in spirit.”
2. Working hard from scratch can eventually transform
From officially entering the racing circle in 2015 to getting the first top three in his career, Li Shuanglin completed the perfect transformation from “amateur driver” to “professional driver” in a short period of time.
We all know that racing cars are modified privately without technical demonstration. Before the age of 35, Li Shuanglin had no racing experience and started from scratch. “The reason why I can succeed is because I stand on the shoulders of giants.” In the first few years of entering the industry, Li Shuanglin learned from Qiao Xu and humbly consulted many seniors. Under their careful guidance, he gradually mastered more abundant racing skills. With knowledge and technology, through his unremitting efforts, he quickly emerged in the racing circle.
When many drivers put technology first, Li Shuanglin has another unique insight: the pursuit of stable racing conditions should be higher than the pursuit of technology. He explained: “With a stable car condition, I can compete on the field for a longer period of time, so that I can accumulate more experience.”

3. Adhere to self-discipline and meet a better self
A driver without a goal is not a good driver. Being good at summing up, making reasonable plans, and setting higher goals are Li Shuanglin’s consistent self-requirements in his racing career. At the end of each year, he will publish a micro-diary in his circle of friends. The content of the diary includes a summary of the previous year’s competition and a plan for the second year’s competition.
In addition to cross-country events, Li Shuanglin also revealed that he has formulated a three-year preparation plan for the Ring of Towers Rally. Rally is not only a car, but also a very high test for people. In terms of physical preparation, Li Shuanglin is determined to quit smoking for many years. Although he joked: Because the cost of running the ring tower is very high, quitting smoking can save a lot of money. Behind the humor is Li Shuanglin’s strict self-requirements in order to sprint to a higher goal, and use his best state to meet the challenge of the ring tower competition.
4. There is a solid backing behind the courage to move forward
The off-road racing industry is a high-risk industry. Whether it is outdoor off-road or professional competitions, accidents will happen if you are not careful. Many racers have experienced disapproval from family members. On the contrary, the support of his family is the most solid backing for Li Shuanglin’s cross-country journey, and he is especially grateful for his lover’s contribution. He always said, “My wife works harder than me, and she is the pillar at home.”
Because of the competition, he didn’t have more time to spend with his family. For them, Li Shuanglin is always full of apologies. Li Shuanglin has been seeking a balance between career and family relationship. The most intuitive thing to see is the interesting, loving, and warm videos and texts he recorded in his circle of friends about family members. “Family is always the softest place in my heart,” Li Shuanglin said.
