“The Yellow River is far above the white clouds, and there is an isolated city, Wanren Mountain.” The Gobi Desert in the northwest is full of dangers and challenges, and the Silk Road has brought infinite vitality to this desert land. The time has come to 2019 in a blink of an eye, and many racing cars gathered here in this desert, which will launch the final impact for the title of “Silk Road Rally”, including two Landwind X7 racing cars of the Landwind Horsepower Racing Team.
The competition is about to start, Lufeng is ready to go
The “Silk Road Rally” is the only intercontinental long-distance cross-country event in the world. The Silk Road Rally has always been known for its hardships. In the previous 8 competitions, a large number of cars failed to withstand the test of the track and withdrew from the competition early. This year’s event will pass through Russia, Mongolia, and China. The stages cover mountains, rivers, valleys, sand dunes, and Gobi terrain. It is a test for the skills of both the car and the driver.
The 9th Silk Road Rally in 2019 will usher in the competition stage in China from July 14th to 16th. The event includes three special stages. The end point is located in Dunhuang, Gansu. The race will go through a total of 2,300 kilometers in China, of which the mileage of three special stages will reach 1,000 kilometers. The stages are set as high-speed tracks with higher requirements for vehicles and drivers.
In this Silk Road Rally, the Lufeng Speed Horsepower Racing Team sent a total of two Landwind X7 racing cars to participate in the club cup four-wheel drive competition. The drivers and navigators of the two pairs of racing cars are the combination of Lu Yiyu and He Yidong, and the combination of Fan Gaoxiang and He Wei. These two racers are well-known in the rally field. Among them, Lu Yiyu once drove to participate in the Dakar Rally known as “Game of the Brave”, the most difficult car rally in the world, in 2011, and finally completed all stages of the race. Competition; as a rising star in the rally world, Fan Gaoxiang has been improving his performance in recent years. With his outstanding and stable performance, he successfully won the first CRC championship in his career in 2017, and won the championship in Zhangye in 2018.

For car rally, safety is always the top priority. This Silk Road Rally has installed real-time monitoring equipment for each car. In addition to the preparations for the race, the Landwind X7, which competes for the Landwind Horse Racing Team, has been designed with safety protection at the beginning of its design, reaching a super five-star standard. The high-strength body frame provides an absolutely safe interior space for Landwind X7. Landwind Motor also specially created a seven-in-one driving safety assistance system for Landwind X7, which can prevent danger before accidents happen.
