If Beijing wants to see the sea, if the time is tight, they usually go to Beidaihe. Although it is winter, compared with the seaside in summer, it is quiet and clean. You know that watching the sunrise in winter is a bit different from watching the sunrise in summer, perhaps because of the air, there may be more water molecules in the air in summer, there is always a sense of heaviness, and there seems to be more sun halos. 1 Fangshan
Everyone is familiar with Shidu in Fangshan, but what I would like to recommend is Hongjing Road, a “five consecutive hairpin detours in Qiuming Mountain” near Shidu. Standing on a high place, you can see that this road is really a road with nine bends and eighteen bends, winding up the mountain.
In autumn, you can see all colors of the whole mountain, and the view is very good. There is also a viewing platform on the road. There are not many cars on the whole road, so it is suitable for self-driving and cycling.
2 Yanqing
There are many scenic spots in Yanqing, and my favorite is the ancient city of Yongning. There is no other reason to like it, but it is delicious.
It has a special snack called fire spoon. It is a fried pancake that is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with a piece of noodles sandwiched inside, and then dipped in pepper and salt water with the noodles. It can be used as a staple food, or it can be eaten dry, of course, it can also be sandwiched with other things. Anyway, I think it is very delicious.
The other is the Liugou Tofu Banquet near the ancient city of Yongning. This tofu feast is generally charged per person. In the farmhouse, everyone sits around the kang, and all the dishes are mainly tofu. I think it is very unique and tastes good.
3 Huairou
Huairou’s recommendation is to go to Huanghuacheng Water Great Wall to see flowers in spring, and to see red leaves in Labagoumen in autumn. When Beijing comes to see flowers or red leaves, I go to those places. In autumn, there are more people in Xiangshan than red leaves, and Labagoumen is much cleaner. And if you go to see the red leaves in October, you can catch up with the ripe chestnuts in Huairou, and you can pick them.
4 Shijingshan
Although Guixiaoshi is not a particularly niche place, it is easier for everyone to get the address wrong, so a warm reminder, enter the navigation address into the parking lot at the back of Guixiaoshi, park the car here and hike up the mountain. I have been to Ghost Laughing Stone several times before and after, but I did not find the way up the mountain in the first two visits. Later, when I met two other pairs of tourists, I knew that I could continue to go up the mountain. And the mountain is very dark, there are no street lights, it is recommended to bring good lighting equipment.
It will take about 20 minutes to walk up from the parking lot. If you see a big rock, you will be there. The night view of the capital is on the back. I think this place is very suitable for friends who suddenly want to be romantic or want to see the night view, because it is not too far away, and it will not take you too much time on the road or on the mountain.
5 Magnolia Paddock
Many people go to grasslands to escape the heat in summer, and I have been there in both summer and autumn. Although autumn is a little cooler, compared with summer, it is full of green, and the scenery in autumn is more layered.
That time we lived in the farmyard at night and caught up with a heavy rain. Although it was a torrential rain, the rain over there would not last for a long time, just a fat cloud floated over, and soon drifted away after the rain. We caught up with such a cloud that night. At that time, a lightning struck and the electric meters in our yard tripped. You know I am timid, so I was really shocked. But even so, as foodies, we persisted in grilling skewers in the yard, but held an umbrella stubbornly. (Xiaojianghu: Do not open an umbrella in the open during thunder and lightning weather!)
At that time, I thought that I would not see the stars, but I didn’t expect that when the cloud drifted past, it seemed as if the curtain was drawn, and the starry sky was directly revealed. The night sky is really as if washed, very thorough, without any smog or dust. I moved a stool and lay in the yard watching the stars. After late at night, the lights in all the rooms in the courtyard were turned off, and I could see the Milky Way with my naked eyes. When you are in the dark and staring at the starry sky, you feel like you are floating in the universe. No kidding, I was really moved to tears at the time.
