[E Group Overseas Report] Since its official release in 2016, the Lynk & Co brand has entered a stage of rapid product launch. So far, Lynk & Co already has two SUVs and a sedan. According to the information available so far, Lynk & Co’s products will be further expanded to more subdivided fields. Following the previous exposure of the coupe SUV, a Lynk & Co seven-seat SUV has officially exposed road test spy photos and related information.
Judging from the exposed road test spy photos, this seven-seater model basically continues the same front body as the Lynk & Co 01, but the position behind the B-pillar has been significantly adjusted, and the test car has a longer wheelbase. This makes the opening of the rear door significantly larger, and the increase in the length of the rear overhang also makes the rear of the test car significantly longer. In order to ensure the seating space of the third row, the D-pillar of the test car has also become more vertical. On the whole, the seven-seater test car also has a greater sense of volume and slenderness.
In terms of positioning, the test vehicle will target the seven-seat compact SUV market represented by Tiguan L, and its positioning is slightly lower than that of traditional medium-sized SUVs. As for the details, the test car still continues the same family design as the Lynk & Co 01.
Judging from the test vehicles, it is expected that this brand new seven-seater SUV will be officially unveiled this year. At that time, Lynk & Co will usher in a new round of product launch cycle.
