Recently, foreign media reported that Mercedes-Benz will launch a new GLE 580 model, which is expected to be unveiled at the end of the year. The new car is expected to be replaced with a 4.0T engine and matched with a 48V light hybrid system. The maximum power is expected to be 360 kW and the peak torque is 700 Nm. In addition, the 48V mild hybrid system can provide an additional 16 kW of power and 250 Nm of torque.
In terms of appearance, the Mercedes-Benz GLE 580 is consistent with the current new car. The front face adopts two designs, one adopts double-banner air intake grille, and is treated with chrome, and the overall style is more luxurious; the other adopts AMG’s front face. The face style is a single banner + flashing diamond grille. With the large air intake below, the overall shape is more sporty.
In terms of interior, the new car’s enveloping center console perfectly blends sports and luxury. At the same time, the leather-wrapped central off-road armrest and the dual 12.3-inch touchable high-definition display screens on the suspended center console create a modern and luxurious visual sense.
In terms of power, according to foreign media reports, the new Mercedes-Benz GLE 580 may be equipped with the same power system as the GLS 580 in terms of power. The 4.0-liter V8 engine outputs a maximum power of 360 kilowatts and a peak torque of 700 Nm. The 48V light-hybrid system matched with the new car will also provide an additional 16 kW of power and 250 Nm of torque.
