A few days ago, we learned from foreign media that Mitsubishi plans to launch the next-generation Outlander PHEV, Yige gasoline-electric hybrid version and plug-in hybrid version, and the pure electric version of ASX Jinxuan in the near future. In addition, Mitsubishi will adjust the size of the above three models to meet the needs of different consumers, and the launch time may be 2020.
At present, there are four SUV models under Mitsubishi, namely Outlander, ASX Jinxuan, Yige and Pajero. According to a Mitsubishi related person, “Our current product layout is not reasonable, and the size of the SUV is close, but in the next 18 months, you will find that there will be a greater difference between them.” The difference may make the Outlander model slightly longer, while the ASX Jinxuan model will be slightly shorter.
As for the power information of the new model, the official has not disclosed it yet. Referring to the parameters of Mitsubishi’s latest concept car e-Yi, the upcoming PHEV model may have a cruising range of 70km under WLTP conditions. In addition, there is news that Mitsubishi will launch an electric version of the Mirage in the future.
