A few days ago, Nissan announced the official teaser image of the second-generation JUKE, which shows the car’s new light set design. It is understood that the new car will be officially unveiled on September 3 and will be launched overseas in early 2020.
It can be seen from the picture that the new JUKE still adopts the split headlight design of this generation of models. An elegant curve outlines the outline of the daytime running lights, and the round headlights with special details are arranged below; It is exposed, but it can be seen from the outline that it uses the latest V-motion design of the Nissan family.
Combined with the previous spy photos of the test car taken by foreign media, the new JUKE’s irregular side window shape, hidden rear door handle and unique wheel arch design all have the shadow of this generation of models. The new generation of JUKE will be developed based on Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi’s CMF-B small car platform, and share the platform with Renault’s leading model Clio. Compared with the current model, the wheelbase is expected to increase slightly.
In terms of power, the new generation of JUKE will adopt a new power system, which is likely to be equipped with 1.0T and 1.3T three-cylinder gasoline engines, and a 1.5T diesel engine with a maximum power of 203 horsepower (149kW). In the future, the car is also expected to launch a plug-in hybrid version.
