“In 2017, I was on a business trip (or hanging out) almost every month, followed several cross-country events, and reported several cross-country events. Doing what you like makes you happier and more content.”
In the New Year’s Eve article at the end of 2017, I wrote this. In the blink of an eye, another year has passed.
In September 2016, a girl with zero cross-country experience entered the cross-country E family. Before she had time to adapt, she participated in the preparations for the 11th Alxa Heroes Meeting. During the break, I listened to my colleagues about the details of the Alxa Heroes Association, and I was full of fascination for that place. At the end of September, all employees of the company were dispatched to Alashan, Inner Mongolia.
As a newcomer who only knows superficially about heroes, it was unexpected for me to undertake the reporting task of producing daily main articles during the event. Forced by the situation, I can only bite the bullet and accept it, and the next step is a week-long devil-style training. During the day, I used my feet to measure the Tengger Desert with my team members, took pictures, and collected materials. At night, I sorted out the materials and stayed up late to catch up on drafts. I often only slept for two or three hours.
Thinking about it now, during the short and long 7 days, the whole person seemed to have been injected with chicken blood, and he seldom felt tired. Even if he encountered extreme situations such as sandstorms and traffic jams, he only felt fresh. Bar.
The Eleventh Alxa Heroes Meeting
The 11th Alxa Heroes Meeting was the first time for me to get close to off-road in a real sense. It was the first time I entered the group of off-road people. The starting point was slightly higher and the harvest was full. A whole new world unfolded in front of me, waiting for me to flex my muscles.
After more than two years, I walked and watched all over the world, and gradually integrated into the off-road circle.
From the end of 2016 to the beginning of 2017, I reported on the annual meeting of each team as if I was rushing to the field, met many bigwigs in the off-road circle, and also had a basic understanding of off-road racing.

From 2017 to 2018, he began to participate in the reporting of cross-country events and some long-distance crossing activities in the e-family model section.
These activities gave me a deeper understanding of off-roading, let me understand why so many people are full of obsession with off-roading, and let me understand:
Off-roading means that you are afraid of dangers and tiredness before departure, and you will become addicted after going there once, and you always look forward to starting again; off-roading means that every time you start off-road, you can find unexpected little surprises in life, and each time you can have different insights into life; off-roading It is to be able to go to places that ordinary people may not be able to reach or set foot in a lifetime.

Now, my pseudo-off-road person has also become an “old” person who has been in the off-road circle for more than two years.
The hurdles that have been crossed over the past two years, the scenery seen, the people met, the experience of climbing snow mountains, rivers, crossing deserts, driving at night, car breakdowns, extreme rescue, getting lost, high-speed reverse, motion sickness, extreme Cold, sun exposure, landslides, landslides… are all engraved in my body and my soul.
I still feel that being able to enter the large group of off-road e-family is one of the most fortunate things in my life. This huge off-road circle has not only realized my dream, but also broadened my horizons and knowledge, and enriched my life experience.
Thank you to the black brother who led me into the e-family and cross-country circles, thank you to the colleagues who have fought with me in the front line of activities or competitions, thank you to the off-road brothers and sisters who take care of me, give pointers, and value me every time I go on a business trip, thank you to everyone An off-road guy who I had a fling with.
In the days to come, I hope to have the opportunity to meet more off-road people, go to more thrilling off-road holy places, report on more exciting and novel off-road events and activities, and experience a richer and more interesting off-road life.
