Driven by the success of the second-generation model, Mitsubishi Delica has become a typical representative of off-road MPV. The product image of Mitsubishi Delica has therefore been embodied in the off-road MPV market segment. Naturally, there are not too few modifications about it.
At the beginning of this year, Mitsubishi Delica D5 launched a major facelift version, with a brand new family-style front face. However, the program modifications around the old models have not been interrupted. The recently announced Delica D5 refitting plans mainly focus on wheels and wide-body kits. After some adjustments, Delika’s tough guy image was further clarified.
These modification plans are similar in the use of appearance kits. An external wide-body kit is used, and negative wheel hubs are used to expand the wheelbase. There are four types of wheel hubs in total. An anti-collision bar is added under the front bumper. The anti-collision bar is matched with different shapes according to different styles, and auxiliary light sources are arranged on this basis. Protective side bars are added to the side of the body, which also function as pedals. In addition, a roof spoiler is added to the rear of the vehicle, and JAOS’s competitive fenders are added.
After the optimization of this series of kits, Mitsubishi Delica D5 has rebuilt the image of a hardcore MPV. While ensuring the large space that van MPV should have, it also strengthens its off-road performance. It can be used as a modification case worthy of reference.
