2. The desert route should not exceed 3 days, at least half a day or more, there are many uncertain factors, and the limit for ordinary people is only 3 days;
3. It is best to have a co-driver. Climbing dunes, digging sand, and hanging ropes are all physical work, and it is very important to have someone in rotation;
4. It is not a special case, do not travel through the desert at night;
5. The anti-off ring must be installed. Although the price is more expensive, it takes 1-2 hours to remove the ring in the desert, which is time-consuming and laborious;
In terms of technology, we have practiced and experienced each other, so I won’t say much. The hardships of crossing Tengger this time exceeded our expectations.

I wanted to go through the Tengger Desert a few years ago. There are 2 routes: 1. Enter the sand at the old venue, and exit the sand in Minqin, Gansu; 2. Enter the sand at the old venue, and exit the sand at Zhongwei, Ningxia.
In the direction of Minqin, there are several high-sand areas, which are more difficult. The sand dunes in the direction of Zhongwei are slightly lower. Since you have to have fun, you have to go to the high-sand area, so I decided to take the route of Minqin. The whole straight line is about 200 kilometers. Actually, it depends on the situation. If you can walk in a straight line, try to walk in a straight line. At night, you can live in a herdsman’s house, have a bonfire, roast whole sheep, desert fireworks, watch the stars, drink and chat…
This time there are 5 vehicles in total, 3 LC100s, 1 BJ40, and 1 Mitsubishi Speedo. The order of driving:
1. lc100, guide, lead the way;
2. lc100, old Han (experienced), with winch;
3. Mitsubishi Speed, Lao Zhu (novice);
4. Bj40, Xiaodong (novice), with winch;
5. lc100, Xu Kai, finishing.
The winches are located in the 2nd and 4th positions, which is convenient for front and rear rescue.
On the first day, in order to let novices adapt to the road conditions, they took the herdsman road. Unfortunately, the speed race broke down on the first day. I can only quit the next day and travel… In the evening, I live in Taodu Secretary’s house, a herdsman’s house.
On the second day, I started to climb the high sand area, passing from east to west. The sand dunes in the Tengger Desert were high in the east and low in the west. It is still a detour, and the lc100 is also very difficult to climb. Shabi in Tengger is difficult to walk in the imagination, or it may be that the technology is not in place, stop and go along the way, the car is stuck, and the rescue has delayed a lot of time. 6 p.m. There are still more than 20 kilometers away from our designated herdsman’s house (and it’s a straight-line distance). In addition, it took a lot of energy to rescue during the day. Finally, I found a sand nest for camping. Fortunately, the fireworks in the desert made everyone very excited!
In the early morning of the third day, the convoy set off at dawn. In order to save time, it started to turn over the knife beam in a straight line. Although the height of the knife beam was average, the truck never stopped along the way. Be careful, and haste makes waste… All the way to rescue is very physically exhausting, and there is no problem with people and vehicles. I rushed to the herdsman’s house at noon to eat and drink, and then continued on the road in the afternoon until I finally succeeded in getting out of the sand at night. Everyone They were all exhausted, but it was hard to hide the joy of successfully crossing! ! ! ! !
