Crewe, April 28, 2020 Bentley Motors has expanded its “Be Safe” health and safety plan to help local people and employees in Cheshire, England, cope with the new crown pneumonia epidemic. Using 3D printing technology, Bentley Motors produced more than 30,000 protective face shields and provided them to health institutions in Cheshire, England, including nursing institutions, the British National Medical Service System (NHS), and community service centers. At the same time, Bentley Motors also donated a variety of personal protective equipment including gloves, masks, goggles and seat covers. Bentley employees actively participate in volunteer services, delivering daily necessities to the local people.

Relying on its professional skills and 3D printing equipment, Bentley Motors’ engineering R&D team independently manufactured more than 30,000 protective masks at the headquarters factory in Crewe, UK, to help 95 local nursing institutions, the British National Medical Service System, and community service centers carry out epidemic prevention Work.

Bentley Motors also provided a series of necessary personal protective equipment to local health institutions, including donating 20,000 pairs of disposable gloves and 10,000 masks, and provided 1,800 primary medical institutions and community service centers of the British National Health Service Disposable seat covers, more than 40 pairs of goggles to the local Leighton Hospital, and will continue to deliver more PPE in the coming weeks.
