“Exploring the Silk Road in the Grassland and Re-traveling the Thousand Miles Tea Road ”
A tea road that runs through the Eurasian continent and stretches for thousands of miles has been submerged in the dust of history for many years, and now it will be reawakened by an event.
On April 11, 2019, the 13th North Asia Rally China-Mongolia-Russia (International) Cross-Country Rally and China-Mongolia-Russia “Ten Thousand Miles Tea Road” Cross-Border Crossing Activity Press Conference Boyuan, Jining District, Ulanqab City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Blue Ocean Hotel kicked off.
The event was sponsored by the People’s Government of Ulanqab City, the Mongolian Olympic Committee, the Ministry of Sports and Youth Political Affairs of the Republic of Buryatia, Russia, and the Inner Mongolia Automobile and Motorcycle Sports Federation; the Culture, Tourism and Sports Bureau of Ulanqab City, Inner Mongolia Wulan Xinying Cultural Tourism Investment Co., Ltd. and Inner Mongolia Hummingbird Racing Culture Co., Ltd. undertake.
The 13th North Asia Rally China-Mongolia-Russia (International) Cross-Country Rally and China-Mongolia-Russia “Ten Thousand Miles Tea Ceremony” cross-border crossing activity is scheduled to start in late June 2019 from Ulanqab City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, China. Exit via Erenhot City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, China. It lasted 12 days, with a total distance of about 4,000 kilometers, a total of 6 stages and five camps, namely Zamyn Uud Camp, Saiyin Shanda Camp, Undur Khan Camp, Ulaanbaatar Camp, Alateng Baolige camp. Among them, the special stage is about 2,000 kilometers, passing through the Mongolian Gobi, grasslands, deserts, etc., passing through Ulaanbaatar in Mongolia and Ulan-Ude in Russia, and finally received the car at Lake Baikal in Russia and presented awards.
This event is an important carrier to respond to the national “Belt and Road” strategy, build the China-Mongolia-Russia Economic Corridor, and promote cultural, tourism, and sports exchanges between China, Mongolia, and Russia; channel” important content. With the strong support of the Ulanqab Municipal Party Committee and the government, the event is used as an opportunity to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Russia and China and Mongolia, to innovate and promote the strategic cooperation in cultural tourism between China, Mongolia and Russia in the new era, and to work together to achieve mutual benefit and integration in the field of cultural tourism among the three countries.
