In the motorcycle group of this Dakar Rally, the Wubao Haidao Team with 3 drivers is the only Chinese team. Driver Zaker Yakefu from Hami City, Xinjiang set the best result among Chinese drivers in his first competition. In the previous 10th stage competition, Zakel Yakefu also set the best single-stage result of a Chinese driver by finishing 30th in a single stage. His teammates Zhang Min and Zhao Hongyi had previously successfully completed the Dakar Rally.
