Aomori

Oirase Stream
We departed from Capital Airport and transferred to Aomori at Tokyo Haneda Airport. After getting off the plane, take the free Hoshino shuttle bus to Oirase Keiryu Hotel! Friends who exit from JR Hachinohe Station and JR Aomori Station can also take Hoshino’s free bus.
The hotel room is in Japanese tatami style, and the large floor-to-ceiling windows are full of greenery. When you open the windows, you will be embraced by the forest.

Aomoriya, a resort hotel with the theme of “Nutman Festival”, is the most anticipated stop of Xiao U’s journey this time.
The Aomori Nebuta Festival, one of the three major festivals in Tohoku, Japan, is a summer festival held every August. There is a large-scale light show and a large group of “jumping people” dances. People put on bathrobes, sing or shout, or dance or perform. It is full of local customs, very grand, and very popular among tourists.
The Sandman Festival is said to be because people don’t sleep well at night in summer, which leads to lack of energy during daytime work and easy to doze off, so this ritual is used to drive away the Sandman.
Patients like me who often suffer from insomnia at night and drowsiness during the day, although they missed the activities of the Nebuta Festival, they also felt the charm of the Nebuta Festival in Aomoriya.
Staying in the Nebuta Festival theme room, I had a good sleep on the night when the Sandman was driven away.
