The dark version of the Prado debut Delta Force package released

[E Group Overseas Report] To be honest, as a classic off-road vehicle, the number of modification cases that Prado can learn from is not as many as its sales. At least compared to the Wrangler, this is the case. However, as a classic off-road vehicle, the excellent platform performance allows the Prado to be refined with a little modification to a pretty good effect. For example, recently Delta Force launched a Prado’s Diablo kit OVEL, and the effect is quite good.

The Prado kit launched by Delta Force focuses on the upgrade of tires and the blackening of the vehicle color scheme. On the whole, after some improvements by Delta Force, Prado’s original modest image has been fully optimized, and the unique sense of handsomeness of Japanese off-road vehicles has been refined. This is a low-key but not timid style. Compared with the flamboyant Wrangler, it is really much better.

Delta Force’s OVEL kit solution is based on the top-end version of the TZ-G model in the Japanese market. In terms of color matching, the Prado OVEL kit launched by Delta Force has carried out a comprehensive blackening treatment on the whole vehicle, and all exterior parts including the air intake grille, pedals, rear license plate light trim, roof luggage rack, etc. A black color scheme is adopted. The whole car is also painted in matte black. The diffuse reflection effect presented by the matte black vehicle color allows the Prado’s surface details and texture to be fully displayed.

The tires are the part that has changed the most in the image of the vehicle. The OVEL package of Delta Force has returned to the 17-inch blackened wheels. The hub size is 17×8J, and the negative value is +20. With the compression of the size of the wheel hub, the corresponding flat ratio of the tire has also increased, and the thicker tire wall has played a vital role in refining the off-road style of the vehicle. The matching tires are BFGoodrich T/A KO2 all-terrain tires, the size of which we are familiar with, which is 265/65 R17 on the old Prado. The wheel hub cover and bolts are also blackened.

In general, although the OVEL kit launched by Delta Force has not changed much, it is indeed a good modification plan.
