Cangshan National Geological Park
Cangshan Mountain is the main peak at the southern end of the Yunling Mountains. It is composed of 19 peaks from north to south, so Cangshan Mountain is not a mountain but a mountain.
From the bottom of the mountain, you can take the cableway to the top of Cangshan Mountain, or you can ride up the mountain, but we abandoned these ways of going up the mountain and chose to climb the mountain. Clusters of rhododendrons under Cangshan Mountain are blooming delicately, red, white, yellow, purple… layer upon layer in various poses and with different expressions! There are more than 40 varieties of rhododendrons in Cangshan Mountain, with more than ten colors. In this sea of flowers, some species are unique to Cangshan Mountain, so Cangshan Mountain can be well-deservedly called “natural rhododendron garden”.
This is a young couple riding on Cangshan Mountain.
The path in Cangshan Mountain is winding and steep, and there is no one on the path in the dense forest, only the crisp chirping of birds and the sound of wind and grass in the valley. The two of us took light steps amidst the fragrance of birds and flowers, and walked into the depths of Cangshan Mountain unknowingly.
There are many rhododendrons and unknown wild flowers on the mountain, decorating the green Cangshan Mountain.
The ecology of Cangshan is intact, the climate is suitable, and the vegetation is dense. The stone road in the dense forest, the rocks and the old trees are covered with moss. Cangshan Mountain is also a paradise for wild animals. There are many kinds of wild animals living in the mountains. Therefore, in order to prevent unexpected animals, we stand on the side of the road I picked up the wooden stick and carried it all the way, accompanied by bursts of earthy fragrance, breathed the humid air in the mountains, and inadvertently walked into the misty clouds.
The green hills, green waters, pavilions, bridges and small bridges complement each other. This is really a good place to wash your lungs. It is full of green and verdant. We are grateful for the precious resources that nature has bestowed on us.
Qingbi Stream of Eighteen Streams in Cangshan Mountain
There are nineteen peaks in Cangshan Mountain, and between each two peaks there is a stream rushing down into Erhai Lake. This is the famous Eighteen Streams. The first flowing little poem merged into a pool of green water. This stream is one of the famous eighteen streams-Qingbi Stream.
However, when some streams are not in the rainy season, the water flow is relatively small, and some areas have stopped flowing.
march street
Sanyue Street, located at the foot of Cangshan Mountain, is also known as “Guanyin City”. Every year from March 15th to 21st in the lunar calendar, the most grand traditional festival of the Bai people is held here. It is the center of various cultural and sports performances such as operas and lanterns. This material trade fair with Yunnan ethnic characteristics has a large scale and far-reaching influence. It is the best time to understand the Bai people and experience the culture of the Bai people. This national event, which has a history of thousands of years, also has a good saying that “one street catches up with a thousand years, and a thousand years catches up with one street”. Do you still remember the movie “Five Golden Flowers”? It tells the love story of the Bai youth in Dali. It was shot on March Street here.
