Desert, I remember seeing it appearing in [Heavenly Generals], [Journey to the West], and [Tomb Raiders Notes]…… A song [Desert Camel] was a smash hit, It made me yearn for the desert even more. I decided to take a trip for myself during a long holiday in May. So, I contacted the local area, looked up information on the Internet, joined the convoy, and entered the desert. An urge to leap, excitement and impatience run high. At that time, the team sent me two very cool desert pictures. I didn’t sleep well for several nights after seeing them. The desert scene has been lingering in my heart.
Before departure, pack all your bags. This is the off-road vehicle I took for maintenance inspection in the workshop.
My little Huang is watching my upcoming journey from a distance. On this trip to the desert, I will at most bring back a bottle of desert sand.
On the day of departure, we gathered early and prepared the necessities according to the personal entourage issued by the brigade: desert boots, scarves, hats, first aid kits, sunscreen, sleeves, cooling oil, 2-3 sets of changing clothes…then pay a certain fee.
We set off in the afternoon and took the high speed along the way. There were not many cars, so we drove relatively fast, and the scenery along the way was endless.
Entering the territory of Henan, the weather seemed a bit hazy and rumbling. On the Ningluo Expressway, we entered the service area to rest. The driving team leader said that there were still more than 1,000 kilometers, and everyone was full and hurried on the road. So everyone takes a break while driving long distances.
Arrived in Xi’an in the evening, the number of the car we drove the next day was limited, and we were not allowed to leave, and the restriction could only be lifted at 8:00 pm. tragedy! However, if you stay in Xi’an for a day, you can take a look at this ancient city, go to the station to pick up a friend at night, and take pictures casually.
At 8 o’clock the next morning, we had breakfast at the hotel and set off. Xi’an is an ancient city with a long history, food is the focus. All kinds of snacks and pasta are the protagonists. Of course, the current mutton steamed buns have long been commercialized and do not have the most traditional taste. There is a century-old shop in the city center, which is said to be authentic mutton steamed buns.
It was already evening when we reached the Tengger Desert, and we were surprised that there was a bustling city here. In our impression, this may be a base camp, but unexpectedly, this is a complete city.
The next day, we headed towards the coordinates of the collection. During the day, looking at the city again, it looks even more charming.
This is the hotel where we stayed, the parking lot is already full, and off-roaders from all over the world gather here.
A sentence behind a Tuda marked with “supercharged” deeply attracted me: Everyone has an off-road dream in their hearts!
We stopped under the very personalized sign at the entrance of the desert, and everyone took a group photo here.
This foot finally stepped into the desert, the sand was as fine as powder, and the wind blew gently, and the sand was immediately lifted up. Remember that sentence: If you can’t hold the sand, it’s better to lift it! It’s really hard to hold, it just flows away when you hold it in your hand.
Before entering the desert, the tires must be deflated and the frequency of the car must be adjusted. Enter the final desert preparations.
At the order of the team leader, the rescue vehicle was postponed, and we walked in the middle, with the team leader in front. Vehicles entered the desert one after another to cross.

Along the way, everyone communicated with each other, and the team leader taught the cars behind which line to follow, how to walk in the sand, and what to pay attention to. The leader often stops and waits for the car behind, because once lost in the desert, he will not know the way out. A car can easily get lost in a sand ditch.
We stopped halfway, and there was a small camp where everyone went to the toilet and rested. Several old drivers came to watch our car.
Passing through a swamp, there was a cute little bird on the lake quietly staying.
Living things in the desert are indeed scarce. Even a long grass or a tree is a unique landscape.

This is the only two-way main artery that crosses the desert, surrounded by deserts, and there is no vegetation. I am really worried that the blowing sand will flood here.
On the second and third days we went to two different desert coordinates, very challenging desert hinterland. One of the plain car Tuda is equipped with a supercharger, and it took the lead in performing in the desert. Everyone saw a different Tuda in the desert.
On the way back, we also happened to meet the peak period of the return trip during the May Day holiday. You can only detour on uncongested roads along the way.
This trip is a perfect desert dream. Along the way, I followed the old drivers and old players who often entered the desert to challenge the fun of desert off-roading. Before leaving the desert, I brought back a bottle of desert sand. This may be the best memory! Poetry and the distance are not far away.
