According to the agreement, the two parties will set up the East China RV Trading Center at the Zhangjiagang Free Trade Port Area Automobile Import Port, and build the Free Trade Zone International Auto City into a comprehensive RV service platform. The target customers are mainly terminal RV users, with Zhangjiagang as the base to radiate Jiangsu, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Anhui, Jiangxi and other places, and then affect the national and international markets. It is expected to use 3-5 years to introduce 30 domestic RV brands, with an annual transaction volume of over 1,000 units and a transaction volume of over 500 million yuan. According to Han Junshan, general manager of “RV Times” magazine, the East China RV Trading Center will officially open on November 21 this year, and will hold the first East China RV Trade Expo in 2019 from November 21 to 24. There will be more than 100 RVs and outdoor brands to participate in the grand opening ceremony.
The East China RV Trading Center includes an exhibition hall building of 18,000 square meters, a maintenance center of 8,800 square meters, an office building of 2,000 square meters, an exhibition square of 25,000 square meters and a caravan camp of 300 acres. It will create a new experience model of China’s RV camping industry and fill the gap in the comprehensive service platform of the whole industry chain of China’s RV camping industry. Promote the perfect transformation of the International Automobile City in the Free Trade Zone, thereby driving Chinese RV modification companies to settle in Zhangjiagang in clusters, and fully assisting the Zhangjiagang Free Trade Zone to build the RV capital of China and create a new benchmark for the world’s RV camping industry model. The implementation of the project will also help Zhangjiagang build a city of RV leisure and vacation, and attract domestic and foreign RV and self-driving leisure vacation groups to settle in Zhangjiagang on a regular basis.
