Last time, I shared with you some of the domestic itinerary of Old John’s team this year. It was our turn to share with you our unforgettable experience in Mongolia for a few days. It just so happens that today is Russia’s annual Victory Day event. Then “join the team” and share today’s experience with you first.
Every year on this day, May 9th, events will be held in large and small cities in Russia, including military parades, parades of families of heroes, all-day open-air performances and concerts. Our team arrived in Ufa yesterday and was stationed in the parking lot of the Hilton Hotel on Ufa October Boulevard. Early this morning, we collectively went to Lenin Square here to occupy a favorable terrain and prepare to watch today’s military parade and activities.
Speaking of Lenin Square, there will be a Lenin Square in the center of many cities in Russia, and there will be a statue of Lenin next to it to commemorate this great man. Every major event or festival in the city will be held here. Ufa is no exception.
This day is not only to commemorate the victory of the Russian people in the anti-fascist war, but also to commemorate and commemorate the heroes who sacrificed their precious lives in this arduous battle. It is not easy, remind me not to forget the pain of war and cherish peace.
Lenin Square on this day is also a “playground” for children. Various weapons and equipment are exhibited in the square, each of which is open to children for “intimate contact”. After watching the military parade, children and parents flock here to take photos with all kinds of equipment. The children boarded the tank and sat in the cab of the armored vehicle, and the soldiers would also explain to the children how to operate it.
Presumably, the patriotism of the whole family will reach its climax at this moment, and the children will also feel the strength of the motherland and the nation in the Victory Day activities year after year.
The team members also gained a lot today.
Alright, today is over for now, see you next time.
