Beijing section
Clear springs and lakes
It is about 120 kilometers long from Hefangkou Liangjin Mountain, 20 kilometers north of Huairou City, to Maoshan Liang at the junction of Labagoumen and Fengning. This section is the Huaifeng section of National Highway 111. There are more than 40 clear springs converging on the roadside, and there are more than ten natural scenic spots such as Yanqi Lake, Miyun Reservoir, Yougu Shentan, etc. along the road. The lake is sparkling and the sound of springs is quiet.
1. Yanqi Lake
The vegetation coverage rate in the entire scenic spot is 90%. Surrounded by mountains on three sides, it forms a natural barrier. For people who have lived in the city for a long time, it is also pleasant to come here to breathe fresh air.
2. River Defense Mouth
After passing Yanqi Lake, gallop on the G111, with ravines on both sides of the road, and the Great Wall is built on the ridge. Then, following the national road you will pass through a beautiful village. The 600-year-old village at the foot of the Great Wall still has its ancient charm.
3. Yougushentan
Yougu Shentan is just beside the national highway. Hundreds of springs converge in the canyon, and you can enjoy the wonderful “Flying Waterfall” and “Shentan”. There are more than a dozen landscapes such as cliffs and waterfalls in the scenic area. After climbing the steep ladder, you can reach the Shentan with an area of about 80 square meters.
4. Yunmeng Mountain
There is a water diversion tunnel to the north of Yougushentan, and Yougushentan is located at the southern foot of Yunmeng Mountain. Going down through the tunnel is the famous Yunmeng Mountain National Forest Park, with high mountains, dense forests, and many strange rocks, also known as Xiaohuang Mountain, it is an ideal place for summer vacation.
5. Miyun Reservoir
At the first fork on G111, you can turn to Miyun Reservoir. This is the largest artificial lake in Asia and a famous fish town in Beijing.
6. Trumpet ditch door
This is a place familiar to travel friends in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei. In summer, you can enjoy the original secondary forest, which is dense and lovely, and the reflections complement each other.
Hebei, Inner Mongolia section

The Hebei section of National Highway 111 is located at the junction of the Inner Mongolia Plateau, the Loess Plateau and the North China Plain. It has a very unique grassland scenery beyond the Great Wall. In ancient times, it was a hunting place for emperors, and now it has become a paradise for photographers and a wild pursuit for self-drivers.
7. Fengning Bashang
The undulating lines of the Bashang grassland, the shapes and shadows formed by the intersection of sunlight and hills are either high or low, or frustrating, or melodious, creating a sense of rhythm and rhythm in the visual image.
The herds and trees in the field form interesting and changing points, lines, and surfaces, vivid and colorful, like uncanny works of art, more like colorful oil paintings.
8. Saihanba
Saihanba has been a famous natural garden with abundant water and grass, dense forests and numerous animals since ancient times.

9. Ulan Butong

10. Greater Khingan Mountains
