At that moment I raised the wind horse
not for blessing
just waiting for your arrival
—— “Buddha’s Fate in the Potala Palace”
On the second day of Huayun Tujun’s trip through Tibet, I wanted to start with Cangyang Gyatso’s poem, but a young lady said that her “lover” should be in Lhasa. So I chose these few lines of lyrics. The wind horses, prayer flags, and mani piles along the way seemed to be waiting for us.
Eighteen bends of Tianlu, the beginning is the peak
We set off before Yajiang woke up, and the car dealership arrived at the first stop of the day – the 18th bend of Tianlu.
It seems to enter the racing field from National Highway 318, winding up the mountain, with endless reversals, and the Huayun Tujun RV does not feel dizzy. No more nonsense, just upload the picture, guest officer please.
Grassland in the sky, Kazila Mountain
After passing the eighteen bends of the Tianlu Road, we walked all the way around the mountains. The blue sky, white clouds, and high mountains are like driving the Huayun Tujun RV into a cartoon. At this moment, I have an urge to stay.
Kazila Mountain is a tongue-twisting name. Only when I got here did I know that there can be grasslands on the top of the 4000-meter mountain, but the mountain grass in April has not yet turned green, and is still stubbornly withered and yellow.
The noodle shop girl, pretty
On the way down the mountain, I found a small restaurant and finally got rid of the curse of instant noodles. The noodle restaurant is not big, with five or six tables and chairs scattered around. The 15 yuan bowl of mixed sauce noodles is definitely a conscience on the mountain at an altitude of about 4,000 meters.
Because the altitude is too high and the boiling water is only 80 degrees, the noodles can only be cooked in a pressure cooker. The young lady who cooks the noodles is really beautiful, but people don’t want to take pictures, so let’s take a few pictures of our own young lady. (That lady who eats instant noodles, are you here to mess things up?)
A special note here is that the toilets here are exceptionally clean and free. Attention ladies and gentlemen, it is free and clean!
quiet town by the road
It’s not all desolate down the mountain, and occasionally there are some chic towns. The low red brick houses in the town are integrated with the mountains, rivers and grasslands, inadvertently conveying the style of Tibetans.
Meet the dream cyclist
When you meet a cyclist on the road, you nod and say hello.
He said it would be nice to come in an RV.
I said, it’s great to have dreams and be young.
Look at each other and smile, and then forget about the rivers and lakes.
Litang City in the clouds
Don’t hate the end of the world in this trip, and go back to Litang.
The city above the clouds at an altitude of 4,000 meters is only seen in a lifetime. We, who are careful even to breathe, are envious of the passers-by who see the big strides. Refuel here, check in the west gate of the “world’s highest city Litang” that you must come to, and then move on.
Here are some tips for friends traveling by car, 1. Not every gas station has oil. 2. Gasoline prices here are a little higher than those in the plains. 3. When the altitude is too high, the fuel gauge of the car may not be accurate. (Our security car encountered the embarrassment of having no gasoline)
mountain high april snow
Haizi Mountain is named after more than 1,000 “Haizi” on the mountain. When we are feeling the magic of creation, auspicious snow falls from the sky. Bean-sized snow particles poured down with the wind, and a little brother was still collecting video material against the wind and snow.
Although the sister lakes on the mountainside are still frozen, the charm of the girl is not diminished.
Batang Notes
Batang is another place for repairing in the canyon. The sun at 8 o’clock in the evening still refuses to set.
Unload your crowded luggage and relax your tense spirit. Suddenly recalling the yaks, streams, and flying rocks we met today… Whether we come or not, it will be there, neither sad nor happy.
In the RV today, good night Batang.
