As a Japanese SUV, Mazda CX-5 has a good score in C-NCAP. The actual crashworthiness is as solid and reliable as the appearance of CX-5. However, although the Mazda CX-5 has a good crashworthiness, the braking performance is only 43.91 meters, and the grip performance of the rim seems not strong enough.
Nissan X-Trail, C-NCAP score: 54.5 points
X-Trail has not only achieved good results in crashworthiness, but also has good braking performance, with a braking distance of 41.66 meters from 100-0 km/h.
Renault Koleos, C-NCAP score: 55.6 points
As an imported model, the braking performance of Renault Koleos is not good among models of the same level, the braking is not stable enough, and the braking distance from 100-0 km/h is 43.77 meters.
Hyundai Shengda, C-NCAP score: 57.4 points
Hyundai Shengda not only has excellent crashworthiness performance, but also has excellent braking performance. The 100-0 km/h braking distance has broken through the 40-meter mark, with a score of 39.4 meters, which is a very good braking performance.
Toyota RAV4, C-NCAP score: 58.1 points
The crashworthiness score is the first in this list, the 100-0 km/h braking distance is 40.71 meters, and the safety performance is comprehensive and stable.
From the list, we can intuitively see that Toyota RAV4 got the highest score with 58.1 points, while Hyundai Shengda got the best score in terms of braking distance. Except for Renault, all other models are Japanese and Korean cars. At the same time, it breaks the traditional concept that Japanese and Korean cars are not safe.
